How to deal with Janna supports

I have been seeing many commentaries about Janna supports being "op". She is good yes but she is not "op".

She will often times make the lane a farm lane, unless they have an aggressive engage adc like Tristana. That is the same as there being a Soraka. Its just going to be a safe passive lane most of the time.

If they have an aggressive adc like Tristana against you, Sivir works well to block the Tristana E and negate most of her damage and also wave clear just as fast.

Janna is not able to help the Tristana counteract this. Her effectiveness is lowered.

Most any other ADC with Janna is just a farm lane. An ADC should pick a champion that they can farm well with. Tristana and Sivir etc will help reduce the amount of engage that the enemy has, and can slow push or freeze a lane. Keep warded so the enemy jungler has to work harder to gank you.

Support options are Blitzcrank, Thresh, Zyra, and Nami for helping get the enemy ADC or janna away from the other..... or for poking in Zyra and Nami's case.

Zyra has a LOT of poking pressure. Too much for the Janna to shield it all, and can often lead to her and her ADC being poked out of lane early, before too much sustain can be gotten. She also forces early sustain over damage which could easily give your team the edge.

Nami is great for poking and healing both, with the ability to speed up engages and CC the enemy long enough for the team to eliminate or severely hurt the target.

Some bad ideas of who to use vs Janna is Leona, Morgana depending on enemy adc, Braum depending on your ADC, and Ornn if you like to use him as support like i do.

Janna is able to knock the Leona out of the dash, Morgana's skill shots are too slow and she can be knocked away from the Janna's team with Janna ultimate so her Morgana ultimate is near nullified, Braum is unable to get close enough to do anything useful vs the Janna and her team, same with Ornn, seeing as Ornn's ultimate is easily nullified by a Janna Q right down the ram lane to knock up Ornn before he can redirect it for a knock up.
