New runes feedback
I'm creating this discussion group in hopes to help riot hear feedback on the new runes system as well as to see what other people's comment on certain runes or their opinion of it.
As for me, here's my opinion globally, it definetly takes some time to readjust to the game with the new system in place, but with that said it does feel like the runes mostly used are the domination, sorcery and precision runes for the sheer damage output they offer as primary rune, leaving the resolve and inspiration somewhat feeling lacking at first glance.
I tend to play tank like champions and for me, my current issues are those;
resolve's runes: they are interesting my main problem with it right now is the current version of aftershock, the idea is nice, however it feels lacking, yes the defensive bonus are ok, but considering the damage output the new runes give, it feels like a shield would be a better option then the current defensive buff,especially since it doesn't last so long and people will usually try to burst you once you initiate, the damage it offers is a good addition to stay competitive against the current state of the new runes but the current problem is survival after the hard CC is used, granted some champions like rammus and galio will like it because of its % scaling for armor and mr but that's pretty much it. my other concern are actually the 2 tier runes, the resistance runes feel weak compared to any other runes in their current state, perhaps instead of being regen/shield conditional how about making them if in combat for x second. that would make them more reliable, that and give them a flat scaling by lvl as well.
Of course I'm aware they will balance things out, however i figured I'd share my current opinion and see what other people think.
