New runes feedback

I'm creating this discussion group in hopes to help riot hear feedback on the new runes system as well as to see what other people's comment on certain runes or their opinion of it.

As for me, here's my opinion globally, it definetly takes some time to readjust to the game with the new system in place, but with that said it does feel like the runes mostly used are the domination, sorcery and precision runes for the sheer damage output they offer as primary rune, leaving the resolve and inspiration somewhat feeling lacking at first glance.

I tend to play tank like champions and for me, my current issues are those;

resolve's runes: they are interesting my main problem with it right now is the current version of aftershock, the idea is nice, however it feels lacking, yes the defensive bonus are ok, but considering the damage output the new runes give, it feels like a shield would be a better option then the current defensive buff,especially since it doesn't last so long and people will usually try to burst you once you initiate, the damage it offers is a good addition to stay competitive against the current state of the new runes but the current problem is survival after the hard CC is used, granted some champions like rammus and galio will like it because of its % scaling for armor and mr but that's pretty much it. my other concern are actually the 2 tier runes, the resistance runes feel weak compared to any other runes in their current state, perhaps instead of being regen/shield conditional how about making them if in combat for x second. that would make them more reliable, that and give them a flat scaling by lvl as well.

Of course I'm aware they will balance things out, however i figured I'd share my current opinion and see what other people think.

RIP AP jungle thats my opinion, most apbased champs dont have enough substain in the jungle anymore, only at the cost of a hell lot of damage in the late game

I honestly can't do these runes, it just stops me playing, I open up League, remember that I'm gonna have to scramble at the last moment to try and chuck together some half assed mess of a rune page, which will end up as a default page instead because I'll have missed something and it just makes the whole experience lose it's fun cos I'm pissed that I've already started at a major disadvantage. I then quit LoL and play something else.

The new Runes and Keystones, while they open up great ways to play are stuck in preset pages with only 2 changeable pages, I didn't even know that you could buy more rune pages, then I saw that it was the price of a new champ and just closed the client. This new system has made something simple; picking a champ and a set of runes or masteries that you've already spent a year tweaking and you know work for you into something really complicated, I still have no idea how the runes work, there are way too many graphics going on, I need to be able to see things mapped out completely to be able to know what I'm doing, the old grid system did this perfectly and was really simple to use, tweaking during champ select was totally possible, now it takes forever, things you select randomly change to other things instead, changing one secondary changes the other secondary you didn't want to change instead, it's just a mess.

Please do something to streamline the process and I may wanna play more than an occasional game but honestly when stuff is so hectic and I'm only in champ select it makes a 5 on 5 everybody dies team fight seem like quite a bland experience.

Some people may like the new rune pages, but they totally spoil it for me, I need to be able to custom build a page for every main champ I use and that just isn't gonna happen at the current cost, not paying £100 just to use your new system because it's too confusing.
