League of Legends was a way for me to have something to relate to with the smart(er) people in the world.

I saw League in a similar way I see Chess.

But after spending well over 1,500 hours on this game,climbing to Gold III and now to very possibly be demoted to silver or even bronze... because of 10 games totaling 5 hours

Is disrespectful.

I urge you, the gamer with so much potential ahead of you-

spend your 1,500 hours on something that will never be taken away from you.

Your skill wasn't taken away and you have your border to prove it. It's merely the typical MMR soft reset just like in sports where teams have to prove themselves again.

Why does the NBA or NFL season restart anyways?!!?!?! They shouldn't have their wins taken away after every season. There shouldn't even be an end to the season. Teams shouldn't just play continuously non-stop because the players might be sad they have to prove themselves again.

This is BULLSHIT! Once a team wins the superbowl, that team should be champions for life because fuck having seasons end.

for gods sake you will win like 30+ points and loose like 10, if it wasnt a fluke you will get back to your ELO you realise the LoL ladder is always so competitive because every season players need to EARN the ranks they finish at?
