Heimerdinger turrets should prioritize enemies

I can see why people might not think this is an issue. Heimer is actually in a pretty good spot, but there's just one niche- his turret aggro is bunk.

Heimerdinger is supposed to be a HARD-ZONING Champion.

Currently, Heimer's turrets do not prioritize on their own. The reason this is an issue is the new Meta and what kind of kits are passing as "fair" these days. Before you start criticising "fair" remember this: Poppy had Morde's Ult first but it was "OP" and removed. Now Morde gets "Diplomatic Immunity" with a new name and splash and suddenly it's "fair". Hard CC was argued to be "Mana" type, but then they dropped Gnar on us so forget the hard CC being magic argument. Anyways- all these changes around the game seem to forget what small changed were made first to appropriate the issues. Basically- champions get reworked when the current state of the game needs to be fixed. Finally when the game is fixed, the state of the champions is in dissarray. At one point, it was probably "fair" to restrict Heimer's turret aggro, but I don't think it applies anymore. It's beoming too easy to stroll under Heimerdinger's turrets and chunk away his Health without any fear of his turrets responding to you. Heimerdinger is supposed to be a hard-zoning champion. There needs to be a trade-off for trying to engage him while his turrets are active. Give Heimer's turrets priority targeting. The base damage of turrets is minimal, so it wouldn't break games so much as allow Heim to be the Champion he's supposed to be.

Morde ult and old poppy ult are nothing alike.

Poppy got increased damage to the point where she could hard one shot with 2.5k Qs with dfg, or ult a different target and get near full damage immunity while she killed someone else.

Morde ult strictly locks him into a 1v1 arena, and steals a small portion of stats. Thats it.

His ult is much more visually thematic and clear as well.

Diplomatic Immunity: Negate all damage from a single champion for the duration.

Morde Ult: Negate all damage from ALL enemy champions except one for the duration.

Your premise is flawed: Poppys was OP because she could stop damage from a high damage source? Morde can stop 4. And I'm talking about Heimer so this comment only shows you have a lot of growing up to do.

Congratulations; you got both descriptions wrong.

Diplomatic immunity increased damage to selected target by you and prevented damage from all other enemies onto you.

Morde ult transports you and one selected target to an alternate SR layer, and steals minimal stats.

You clearly dont know what her old ult did (which isnt surprising, given youre saying its mordes new ult)

Heimers turrets already target champs he hits or that hit him. I wouldn't have it any other way

They don't respond to attackers. Heimer's turrets focus marked targets, and Heimer marks enemies with attacks and abilities.

Yes, this is good, same reason zyra plants don't hit you unless she hit you with an AA or ability or you hit her.

What you are trying to propose would make heimer MORE braindead and non-interactive for the enemy.
