Yasuo's shield passive is kind of ridiculous

Does Yasuo REALLY need the passive shield? It's a bit annoying to land high burst poke that is completely absorbed by a shield. Then Yasuo has his wall which is another game breaker itself..

Yasuo players don't need high reaction times when they have a shield that responds for them. Yasuo's high mobility gets his Passive on quick cooldowns, making it even more frustrating to play against.

Passive abilities aren't supposed to break games. Yasuo gets a damage blocking shield and doubles his crit chance before getting into his Active kit.

Is this balance?

It's dumb af. But now he's "balanced" around it. If they took it away God only knows what they'd give him in exchange.

1 second cooldown on Windwall, and 2 for ult. Because cooldowns is for the weak.

Its a balanced champion and not popular in high elo aswell duo to hes squishiness.

yea it is annoying he just hard shoves if you're playing a mana based champ.try to poke him his shield eats it and you lose cs. Cs the wave and he hard shoves making sure you're zoned off the wave lest he use your minions to engage on you.he windwalls if its looking bad for him. If you try to auto him to break shield he engages using your wave.

So it comes down to try and poke him through his moblity, shield, and ranged shield or don't and watch him hard shove while you use your mana to try and not lose cs to the tower with your weak mage autos.

Why are you throwing an ability at him when he has his shield up? You can clearly see when it's up, how close it is to being up, and easily kill it with a single ranged auto. If you're talking about when he get's it back with his ult, well at that point you're not poking.

Imagine if you are playing a champ like Xerath, and are about to land your high damaging Q, but the enemy Yasuo has just enough flow that the very next second, the damage you were about to deal is nullfied. And you are ignoring the fact that he has another passive... that increases his damage. It doesn't matter that you can see it, it matters that his passives perform conflicting actions, unlike most other champs with two part passives.

You...you know you can see his flow bar charge yeah? Just pay attention to the champion, like you would any champion, to prevent those absolutely niche situations where that happens.

But if he didn’t have his shield then he’d only have 1 passive. :c

Like most reasonably designed champions have... Like Vi, Tristana, or even Teeto. Yasuo is among a very rare few that have two passives, and among them he is the only who has two differently specialized passives(One being entirely damage focused, and the other defensively)

You seem to have missed my sarcasm.

Are we gonna ignore the fact that it really is a passive shield, he doesn't have to time it or anything he just keeps dashing and fighting and itl pop up the next time he takes damage..

Yes it can be abused by enemy champs but only up until he hits his 5 minute 0/7/0 5 cs powerspike where he starts killing everyone after dumping gold into crit.

Yes, he does need that shield; yes, it is for balance. He has a high ban rate and he's infamously annoying, but he isn't actually very strong.

They must change his passive CD, increase it. Too fast.

He can be countered so no need to nerf. Thread closed.
