Is the new ranked system going to end autofilling?
I'm not a fan of the new system but if it stops autofilling me to a role I have no knowledge of (Jungle or Support), than that'd be nice

I expect autofill will be a thing (kinda needs to be for queue times), but if you're a diamond top one trick and you're autofilled to support, you might discover that you're in a silver game (or wherever your support skill actually lies) where your lack of support skill isn't a disaster for everyone, and actually stand a reasonable chance.
Will be interesting to see how they handle champ select role swaps though. Plenty of high ranked players who main one role who could essentially 1v9 in that role if they're in a game a few tiers down, so that could make for some very messy matches if they're don't address it properly.
All it'll mean is you will get more off-meta picks from plat/diamond players who think they can carry their silver teammates if they play akali in support :P Funny thing is they probably WILL.
No, it is a work around to allow your autofill games not matter. Not ideal but better than the current system.
