I hate how if I play as almoat any melee character he just shits on me. He builds tanky yet can shred any armor I build causing him to do tons of damage too.
When I recognize I'm losing and escape he just has to chase me with q than r and I'm dead.
Play ranged against him.
Garen doesn't scale the best.
Just do your best to farm up and try not to fight him till later.
You should have gotten someone with poke (if not range) when facing garen ^^
Garen actually has a garbage early game and loses most matchups. He's a mid-game champion, you really shouldn't be losing lane to him. Who are you playing where you are losing to him? He only really wins a few matchups early game.
