Ranked Promo System is Broken

Like seriously. I went 9/1 in promos and got placed in Bronze V.

How does this make any sense. I was only ranked once before, in season four and I was Bronze V. Does it not make sense that if I am winning more often than not against Bronze V players I should be put above that level?
