Why can't we see the amount of gold both teams have during the game?

So you know how in spectator mode, you can see how much gold both teams have. I'm wondering why we can't see the amount of gold both teams have in game in the same manner as spectator mode. It would be cool to have that kind of information in game to have a sense of how ahead or behind your team is. I don't know if that kind of information would be game breaking which is why Riot didn't implement this yet or i'm just dumb with only half a season of experience with this game. Let me know how you guys think of this feature!

no because if you know how much gold they are ahead some of your team will give up if you are way behind. towers get gold and kills get gold but towers give more gold so if your team has 9 towers but are down 11 kills you will still have more gold then the people with less towers

I think it would be cool, and I also think it would assist players in knowing how much of an impact their actions have on the game!

When some people hear that they have died 5 times in 13 minutes, all they hear is that they've died and they don't associate that with gold gain fully. If people realised through this, that having 5 deaths means close to 2k gold, they might just stop themselves before they try to fight for the 6th time instead of farming!
