When the new item 3153 heals ADCs for more than his Defensive Ball Curl and item 3075 damages combined, and they can dispel his Taunt with a item 3140, where exactly is Rammus supposed to be in the current meta?

Shyvana Nunu RekSai Sejuani have been really over the top with the item 3725 item 3800 item 3075 combo and it's understandable that ADCs need the buffed item 3153 to survive in the tank meta, but Rammus was never over the top and with the new massive life steal his identity of damage reflect has become obsolete and even Ashe can freely ignore Rammus now with BotRK and QSS.

I feel like Rammus's identity is his damage reflect and his Defensive Ball Curl should be buffed to make him a harder target to deal with rather than just a punching bag for your lifesteal.

He is fine trust me. He's strong as fuck just like all the other tanks, only reason he isn't picked is because the other Ap tanks are stronger atm.

someone mentioned, that if the %damage on bork triggers lifesteal, it should also trigger thornmail. is that true, or did they really overbuff the item?

Rammus has movement speed. Tanks like Sejuani have charges. I like Rammus because you build sunfire and banshees then rule the game with endless taunting. And Rammus is a punching bag, that's why he deals damage to people who touch him. If you really want a damage build, I recommend:

Rammus summoner 11 summoner 6 item 3274 item 3091 item 3172 item 3151 item 3153 item 3068 item 3362

There's lots of damage, moderate armor, MR, and health. That build is something that I'm sure Rammus would say "OK" to.

Side Note: That build is for Initiating a fight. You ball charge in on your opponent, Taut/Ult/Whatever and just take a large chunk of health away. Executions aren't exactly the forte of the build, but Rammus is a team player so hopefully someone saw you as you went past them. And if you don't sell JG item, then just take Cinderhulk.

you can stick him top lane to counter all those squishy ad champions.

hes got the BEST early game ganks and can really get your team snowballing and punish the enemy team early.

later on in the game he wants to go on in, start the team fight, and single out the enemy adc, taunt, and kill them thanks to his build + passive + DBC.
