PSA to All Supports Regarding Team Usage of Yellow Trinkets

Every game I find myself asking my teammates to upgrade their yellow trinkets to something. Mostly I ask them to upgrade them to the two free wards.

What happens? No one upgrades them except the person I might be partying with.

Sometimes I get told that they "plan to upgrade it last"

So I propose that every person that plays in the support role and would normally be incline to ward, to STOP warding in all game types but ranked, wouldn't want to lose LP

Simply stop warding and when people complain about the lack of wards you tell them to upgrade their yellow trinkets.

I'd like to add though, that the only time my team does upgrade their trinkets it's due to champions like Akali being in game.

Or just get yellow trinket upgrade yourself. They want more wards? Upgrade your trinkets. At least in my elo (mid-tier elo) sweeper isn't useful enough due to people not warding much.

yes because we should stop warding so that then people can blame it on the support for not being any wards on the map

The Greater stealth totem Grants a ward every 60 seconds, that lasts for 3 full minutes (like normal wards)

Normal Stealth totem only lasts for 60 seconds (120 at level 9) on a two minute cooldown.

The wards granted from the Greater stealth totem are superior to the unupgrade totem in every way. And because Wards cost 75 gold, the greater totem pays for itself after 3-4 wards placed.

Though I can't stop warding as the support, especially early game because I have to rush sight stone, because it's that useful. Sure you can ward the river with a trinket ward, but with sight stone you can also cover the side brushes which can prevent any shenanigans that the enemy duo may try. And if your well coordinated with the top lane, you can pull off a TP gank that way.
