Pay to win?

Camille is hyper mobile, hurts like fuck, gets a shield, gets a stun, has a heal, has godlike ultimate. How could it be that they were thinking of introducing something non-toxic into the game by releasing her as is? This champ release just reinforces the prevalent belief that Riot almost always releases champs over powered so that everyone will buy her. She could be a very fun champ to play as and against with her unique kit. She is not a fair champ at all as is though. So you know it is true, ultimately the only thing Riot cares about is sales.

Do I blame Riot for caring about sales? Of course not. But can you promote sales in a non-toxic way???

Lux skin was the same thing -- pay to win. How could they release that and not notice that the animations are much harder to see than the original animations? As a big fan of this game, I feel betrayed by Riot because of stuff like this.

The IP cost is higher at release but it's not like 7800 takes months to achieve.

People say that every time a champion is strong and theres a skin for them, and ignore all the times a champ is average or below average and theres a fresh skin for them.

Things getting released with vision issues or just generally being OP is unfortunate, but it doesn't seem like it done intentionally for sales. Especially considering they do tend to be nerfed or tweaked for visibility instead of being perpetually left that way.

I know they are not perpetually left that way, but very often shit is broken on release and it makes sense because then more people will buy it. Honestly I am very impressed with Ivern Camille and Taliyah. They are all very unique and fun to play. But I do not like how they would rather make something broken than underpowered when they release it into the game. You see ofc if it is under powered, you can just not pick her, if it is overpowered, it has to be banned. You only get 6 bans. It would be more healthy if you were able to use bans to ban counter picks on your team comp rather than feeling forced into banning over powered champions.

Camille was hot-fixed nerfed because she was OP on release. However, she still costs the same amount as she did pre hot-fix. You always see this circle-jerk of "Riot releases a champ OP so people will buy them", but do you remember release Ivern? Release Taliyah? Ivern was so shit he was buffed multiple times, and is only considered good, with the release of new support items. Taliyah was garbage tier as well. Riot over-buffed her she was so bad.

Bard <---- dare we bring up release bard

circle jerk is not really a good comparison. ik what u mean about riot eventually balances champions and shit, but is it not like really obvious that Lux' abilities are so hard to see? There's no reason other than money to release a toxic skin like that. You have to ban her just because a fucking skin wtf.
