Need serious help leveling as a jungler - tips please!

I've watched quite a few videos. Can't figure out how to stay close to others while jungling. This last game, I was a level 7 and the highest was a 12 on our team (12, 11, 10, 9, me at 7).

I've watched videos on how to do the best routes. How to kill the monsters (small first to big when in a group like birds and dogs, I know, raptors and wolves). That's supposed to net more experience points.

Need help. How else do I get experience? Should I help out less in lanes? Concentrate ONLY on monsters in the jungle? Do the enemy monsters net more experience?

Thanks for any help. I've found the forum community for nicer than those with whom I play.

Looks like you play alot of warwick. This depends alot on the champion you are playing but in general you should try to balance ganking and farming. Warwick can be a good early ganker but lacks gap closing pre 6. Post 6 however ganking when you ult is available is almost a garenteed kill for your team if you can land it. No farming the enemy jg doesnt grant more xp than farming your own. Helping out lanes is ok as long as you dont waste to much time.

Side Note Warwick doesnt really work well as a full ap champion. More successful builds involve him going tanky. Also getting a tiamat will help you in the jungle faster

Cinderhulk and Titantic and then depending on their team comp you could get spirit visage or deadmans plate.

item 1418 item 3078 item 3748 item 3047 item 3742 item 3065 is a fairly standard build for what you seem to want. jungle item/sheen item/tiamat item is your core.

To start with you want to be a selfish jungler until you acquire good gank sense- only gank when an enemy is pushed up to your tower. For second, you want an easy jungler like warwick or poppy. Builds will differ, but for warwick you can go with an emphasis on attack speed (devourer, trinity, titanic hydra) or on tank (cinderhulk, trinity, steraks gauge). But theres lots of other builds you can do.

The most important thing is that gank sense. Its something you either have or dont and it can be very hard to learn. I suggest watching some challenger jungle streams - nightblue3 streams often and is fun to watch, if youre interested in that.
