Lethality and possible balance.
I think everyone can agree that right now there is a issue with Lethality in League of Legends.
The question is what can be done to fix it.
Right now there are three very powerful lethality items.

All three of these have their place in league.
Is for engage/disengage.
Is counter build for for CC and ap.
For popping squishies.
All of them are designed for a all in approach.
None of them by themselves are broken except maybe the active on 
Right now they are being abused by ranged adc's. However that is not the only issue. Combined with
or
. It allows assassins to by bass obscene amounts of armor almost negating most tanks defensive capabilities. There are very limited exceptions to this.
Are both able to cope to some degree. Mao has a flat damage reduction which drastically helps and Naut has so much cc and a shield that they have a hard time doing their combos.
What i would like to see is a simple change to these items

LDR and MR should be Ranged only and BC should be Melee.
This is a start.
The other change I would like to see is
's active changed. The duration would be lowered to 6 seconds and the Cd increased to 30 seconds(starts on activation of the Channel.) This would give a solid 20 or seconds for a window of counter play.
