Nidalee changes

I have no idea if riot actually looks at these boards but I figure I may as well post and hope for the best and I know I will probably get a lot of hate for this but I need to talk about nidalee.

I know riot wants to tone jungle nidalees power down some (and honestly think they could have tried just the root change) but I really wish they would do so in a way that doesn't hurt lane nidalee.

What I'm talking about specifically is the change to pounce. Removing it makes her feel kind of awkward and clunky and hurts AD nid more than it hurts jungle nid.

Instead of removing the auto reset they could do something like removing her hunt on monsters or even just nerfing the bonus damage her hunter take down deals to monsters. And if they really wanted to remove and auto reset it should have been the form change one.

idk it just feels bad when one play style for a champ gets hurt because another plays style is to strong and riot doesn't know how to focus nerfs towards the one that is strong. Plenty of champs have to deal with this tho tbh but its always a bummer.

First, removing her Hunt on monsters would be more than just a nerf to her in the jungle, it would make her completely and totally unviable anywhere but MAYBE in the top lane. Secondly, while changing her empowered Takedown on monsters would certainly slow down her clear speeds, if it happened I think it should probably be a nerf down to 50% or 75% of the damage it deals to champions when it is used on monsters, as removing it completely would likely cripple her clears to near unviability (mostly because it's an Execute, which helps immensely when finishing a camp). Honestly for your last idea, I have to say that removing the AA reset on W is a lot better than removing it on R. The form change reset makes her feel a lot more natural and smoother to play than a champion like Elise, which I think fits very well lore-wise, and after playing on the new patch for a while, I can still feel the difference the removal of the W reset makes, so while not a really substantial nerf, it was certainly a meaningful change. Removing the form change reset would not only hurt her clears, but also her dueling potential, last hitting, tower pushing, and so on, making her close to unplayable both in lane and in jungle.
