The new game changes feel like they have made the game less enjoyable and dynamic

I have been trying to get used to the new changes to the game, mainly Summoners Rift, but the no matter how much I try to like it I can't. I have played a couple of games so far and all of them I have not really enjoyed, I am also a member of the PBE and have seen all of the changes that have happened to League over time and these changes from the very beginning I have had problems with. I have many reasons I have not enjoyed the games and I would like to explain all of them here.

  1. The game feels less "flexible" now, to put it into one word. It feels like the game no longer wants you to break the meta anymore because now you need a jungler, now you need smite, and now they have made it so there are literally champs that can not jungle anymore before you could at least try to play Darius jungle, it might not work to well but you could try, now there is no trying it's just use these specific champs and no others.

  2. Talking about the jungle more, now it feels like the game is completely focused on the jungle and if you are incapable of winning the jungle you have basically lost the game. Many of the team fights I have have now center around jungle buffs or dragon and baron and rarely would I have any team fights in lane over a turret or anything else but the jungle objectives. Also do I even need to say anything about the baron buff or has everyone already figured out that if you get it you win.

  3. The different changes done to the turrets seem completely pointless and in some cases made them weaker. the turrets power doesn't seem any different now and the 2nd turrets shield feels like Riot was just grasping at straws to do something to that turret, the shield has not once made a difference to any scenario under that turret and just feels like a why bother scenario. Then there are the laser turrets which are extremely weak if there are any minions even around because the turret takes them out slower then the outer turrets, now I don't know but I feel like the turrets protecting my base should be stronger then my expendable turrets way off in the distance.

  4. Finally there is no way to comeback from a losing game anymore really. once the enemy team is ahead and has a couple of dragon buffs you might as well just surrender, which is what all of my losses have been is a surrender vote. You used to be able to have at least a chance even if you were 5000 gold and 3 dragon kills down not anymore if that happens there is no going try hard mode with your team and coming back no there is just let them destroy your base, surrender, or stall the for a bit until they win, and you know that's depressing as fuck when that happens.

I hope that people read this and agree to what I have said here so that Riot may notice that players want changes so that the game doesn't feel so boring and "forced" as feels now. I know that some people may disagree to what I'm saying here but I hope that changes will come to this game soon so that I, and others, can still enjoy playing this game.

tl;dr this jungle is boring because you aren't adequately rewarded for the extra time and health you have to spend jacking off at your camps.

This jungle has slowed the game down significantly, and not in some strategic or gameplay oriented way. They just made it flat out more boring. Jungers make less gold and less experience for harder camps. This directly translates to less ganks and less map control, which makes games take longer. Junglers simply have less of an impact on the game in this current patch, and junglers were what got the games rolling most of the time previously.

You're just too preoccupied with the jungle to do anything. I don't know if Riot thought they were adding more objectives or something, but all they've accomplished is a Jungle nerf thiny veiled as a map update.

Game feels like DotA Lite right now, and I don't play DotA because it's boring and slow as fuck and puts me to sleep.

I agreed with above. I like the changes, just camps need to be toned down so... The jungler can get the game rolling. If Riot wants flashy LC$ Play$ for their viewers, the jungle must be refined further than what it is now.

All the following encourage ganks and plays for junglers. -More gold: So junglers can be meaningful during ganks. -More exp: So travel time does not put jungles behind lanes.

Hell... Allow a killing smite to reward player with bonus gold and exp. (Double reward)

No one wants to watch farming lanes and farming jungle for the first 20mins...

Sir, a jungle has always been needed - But not for the reason(s) you think. Also, the entire jungle changes made it so that junglers that COULD NOT JUNGLE before now can. Try Sejuani - She's in a great spot. Mordekaiser can now gank with the Smite slow attached, and has near infinite sustain in the jungle.

A jungler has always been needed because in higher elo play, the difference in objectives being profound is staggering. To be blunt, a Diamond middle laner can make significant more usage of the Dragon Buff than you can. Thus, smite was always a necessity to assuredly take down objectives. It may not be the case in silver, as I imagine they aren't as aware on how to capitalize on leads.

If anything, you're looking at the wrong role. The only role the meta enforces is a marksman, due to their intense damaging capabilities. Yourself, however, need not worry. Go take Darius into the jungle. He's stronger now, and his ganks are FAR more effective (Ranged smite slow into pull into W is crazy).

I'm not saying that a jungle was not needed before I'm saying that it is a must now that you have to have a jungler because no one is even going to entertain the idea of a duo top, I'm not saying duo top is good but you could still do it for fun. Then there is, like you said, new junglers that could not jungle before now can but a lot of other junglers have lost their initial roles as assassin junglers now because most people don't gank as much now. You do bring up some good points though and I thank you for that.

Having won games where the enemy team had 4 dragons and we were behind in kills, objectives, and money, I disagree.

Still the same game. A solid teamfight or two can still bring you back for the W.
