How do you snowball with azir now?

Because what I see is ethir you trust your team and try to farm and they feed which makes you loose. Or you take huge a lead and snowball the whole game. But how do you snowball you see coaches saying “just farm” “go after the towers”. In my opinion if there’s littlery no way to get a finals blow on the enemy then how do you snowball, it’s not like junglers will just commonly strole by your lane and give you a lead. So what do you do? Or the fact is azir is completely trash again. And no don’t talk about proplay the last thing you should know is their teams are trusting each other. To conclude I’d like to ask, how do I play azir if I play agro then I get camped if I play for the tower my team feeds, if I roam I won’t get any help. So what do I do? Or is he complete trash again. And if he is can I make a suggestion riot, you should have gone with the idea of getting rid of the shuriman shuffle because his normal kit is absolutely the least close to securing kills, unless with others.

  • Azir is the dps mage. Dps so he’s not going to get a lead he’s just just gonna throw the damage out. And what happens when his team feeds hes useless.

*Kit the thing is self explanatory, the fact you q and do damage your try to agro and guess what happens they get away. So periodically ethir azir can just be useless against fed enemies or not even snowball off the, becuase he doesn’t have the way.

  • For the love of the champ. Do something or just delete him

Can snowball off farm in principle. He is late game DPS though, not super early.

If you feel the only viable strategy at your elo is to snowball heavily in early game though, then there are probably better champ choices.

See the other choice is playing an assasin. It’s not about elo it’s just what I do?

Assassins are the right choice for early game snowball strategies if that's your jam. Trying to snowball early on a late game champ isn't typically gonna work well.

Having champs that can reliably snowball early and who have strong late games isn't really super healthy (<insert snarky adc commentary here>) so riot largely tries to ensure champs are relatively weak early but scale well, or scale poorly but are strong early, and tend to bring out nerfs if strong early->strong late gets to be a thing. Azirs probably in an ok spot overall where he's got a pretty spicy lategame and a relatively safe early game, but 'safe' is a different thing from having a strong snowball potential.

Only mentioned elo in so far as you frequently mentioned being unable to trust your team/get no help when roaming/etc. Some of that is always a thing, but some of it does get a bit better so people will somewhat reliably follow up appropriately, at least 50% of the time, so I don't feel bad about "play safe->scale" style strategies at my main elo (but trust my team far less when on smurf accounts).
