When are bruisers/melee going to get worked on? They have too many advantages.

i. They have gap closers and high damage. They deal more damage than mages earlier than mages with the ability to buy items that fight against mages. Mages can go bottom because they can only cc now adays. With many casters feeling worthless the game is turning into 3 or 4 melee a game with no reason to have any less. Ranged characters other than Caitlyn and Jinx have a huge disadvantage because they can't even reach an enemy champion without entering the risk of getting immediately killed by AOE bruiser abilities such as Yasuo Q, VI ultimate, Riven can just dash at their face (slows don't matter when you dash so caitlyn e is worthless) and Hecarim can just dash right into you through your front line. The game has no front line anymore when these types of bruisers are in game. Lee Sin deals more damage than many mages do with their ultimates with his R. He has a great ratio with it and it has more utility. You add Edge of Night to the game between that Banshee's Veil and Mercurial Scimitar not to mention Maw of Malmortius melee bruisers have everything they need to tank all of a mage's spells and kill the mage with little to no ability to fight back. The only real advantage now for mages is to just pop a tower with their AP bonus. I'm sure it's enjoyable for every player to see the enemy Ziggs or Veigar 2 shot an entire tower. You give Attack Damage every utility item in game such as Manamune for mana regen, Edge of Night to avoid spell damage, Maw of Malmortius to avoid spell damage only when it will kill you, Black Cleaver to lower armor, Phantom Dancer to lower damage taken from a specific champion and to up movement speed, Banshee's if you don't feel like channeling Edge of Night, and many more items . If you're going to do that just remove the mages then because unless it's a tank mage there's no point in playing it. The only real reason Mages are even worth having around now is either mobility or cc. Something all characters generally have now adays.
The biggest deal is the fact that mages run out of ammo so to speak. A graves has a "downside" because he has ammo that he magically gets back without any type of regen needed. Meanwhile mages that aren't meant as supports have massive cooldowns that, when whiffed by, let's say, a Yasuo wall, leave the mage heavily vulnerable. A simple dash is sometimes all that's needed to avoid mage spells meanwhile Melee attack damage characters can just simply annihilate someone else as well because they have attack damage steroids. Mages get Nashor's and Lichbane. How cute. Lichbane has been nerfed and building Nashor's shouldn't be as viable as it is on characters that are based on their spells but it doesn't matter because LIFESTEAL and SPELLVAMP are completely uneven. Lifesteal counts on all attacks. Now you can even build an item that lifesteals on all physical damage. Spellvamp on the otherhand is completely worthless on all but 3 champions in the game. The reason for this is because mages get multitarget spells and they never really get the benefit of the full spellvamp on all of their abilities. Plus they can't get as much lifesteal as they want. Bruisers can do everything mages can do but better.
So overall I just want to state that it's been like this for way too long. There's very little that can stop bruisers now. Constant bans are Riven yasuo Hecarim Lee Sin and Vi. Maybe not every single game but it's constant enough to know it's an issue. Please balance your game. The fun in the game is getting ruined by the facts that certain characters are straight up better than other characters on every level. It's not that they "shut them down" or they "counter them" because you can't pick against a Yasuo. His wall counters the majority of the characters in the game. They have ranged abilities still that make sure they can catch flashing champions. They have the ability to get across the map way faster. Most of them have more than 1 actual ability in all of their abilities. They have all the utility, damage, and survivability they need. They can control fights easily. Yasuo combos off of Riven, Lee Sin, and Vi not to mention many others. So the main goal here is just to say: Is this going to be fixed or are you going to continue focusing on melee champions until it's the only thing in the game?
