Pick order and champion trading.

Hi, Let me start of by saying I am not sure if this is the right placed to post this. Recently people in ranked have been trading champions, EX : 5th player, last pick wants fizz jungle and it isn't banned. He asks 1st pick to pick it for him. and 3rd pick wants jungle but isn't going to play fizz or doesn't have that champion. Should 1st pick pick fizz for 5th player and let him jungle or can 3rd pick take jungle? most of the time this happens with duo people wanting adc/support but someone else wants adc/support. Just like to know how to deal with this situation.

A : Let 5th pick jungle cause 1st pick got fizz for him. B : 3rd pick can just take jungle because its the pick order system and he is above 5th player.

I think its more usefull like this Team a pick order top jg mid adc sup team b pick order mid top jg adc sup

as top picks riven (team a) Now the team b mids get to pick if he picks mid he wil be counterd if he picks teemo and switchea they have 2 hard counters

seems akwardly unfair do

Honestly for me it depends on how high value the champ they are asking for is.

That's actually a hard one to determine. I typically go with pick order period. So if the 3rd and 5th picks want jungle, 3rd gets it regardless of if 1st was willing to pick for 5 or not.

5th pick should expect to voice his preferred role and then give it up as you typically have to do. Sometimes you're lucky and someone will let you have it, but don't count on it. Always go by standard pick order in terms of who gets what role, even if someone else can and is willing to pick for you. It prevents the grey area from occurring.

Not to mention I wouldn't trust someone else to pick for me as they may just want my role and take it for themselves, which is screwed up, but happens. You're better off having a champion that's difficult to counter if you're first pick, or making sure the major obvious counter to your champion is banned.

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying don't cooperate with your team, but times when your team really cooperates in solo queue are going to be very few and far between.

I usually let traders do their thing. Usually its a highly contested pick like Ahri, Vi or J4.
