Have we all just accepted that Ezrael kelpto is fine

Its just normal that he generates 1k gold and 30 items every game with the rune with zero risk? Ontop of that its extremely easy to proc as well and its permanently up basically every fight? Really?

Ez feels like one of the most balanced champions right now, leave him out of the mess that is Rito balance, please. Thanks.

He's probably the closest you can get to a champion that if you're better than everyone else you almost 100% will win, but if you're not, you're gonna get a quick dose of reality an have a real bad day.

Note: If you're better than everyone else in a skill-based game, you should generally win. Ezreal is probably the best example of a champion perfectly balanced around player skill.

As a support main, I have to point out that the number of bad Ezreals I have seen (since his change), have largely outnumbered the so-called (and self-professed) Ezreal players out there.

That's always been the case, because he requires you to have a higher skill level than your opponent, so if MM is balanced, up until very high ELO he will get stomped until skill levels start to peak, and you know what? That's fine.

Some of us would be happy to see Klepto removed - period.

As a former support main, I had to take a break from the role solely because of the "pro" Ezreal players who dish out minimal damage every single game while playing like cowards.

I've yet to see an Ezreal player properly utilize the gold generated from Klepto.

If you check them against ANY other adc they play, ez is always worse. It's people that think they're some sort of pros. Best to ban em out at low elo play.

I actually enjoy banning Kalista too. Between Ezreal and Kalista, I have no idea which one is less fun to play with.

MrFawknSunshine1 votes

yea it is, cuz well he isnt really an issue. he has weak damage early, typically dont hit any power spike til mid game. and has a sub 50% win rate

Pika Fox1 votes

He only has a weak early game because people run klepto/muramana to accellerate his late game potential.

Comet and the like and running ER/TF etc will net better early damage.

MrFawknSunshine1 votes

yes it will but in lane vs other adcs he is still weak. and still has a sub 50% win rate

Pika Fox1 votes

He wouldnt be as weak with other builds though is what im getting at. His early damage is rather high when built for that.

Pika Fox1 votes

Yeah, pretty much. Other runes generate similar value.

They hurt him pretty badly by changing how the gold generation on Klepto works. Ezreal doesn't often stay in range to do the extra auto needed, so he's getting less gold than before.

I hate it because in order to play ez you pretty much HAVE to use klepto since he's been tuned around it. I've tried PtA, commet, aery, fleet, DH, and more, but they just don't work because of how slowly he reaches his spikes without klepto and how weak his early game has been made to be.
