You cant gap-close, the jungler cant gap-close, voli can gap-close, voli is tank with a lot of dmg. As a melee you are 100% useless against him, since he spams his roar on cooldown and you cant do shit.

Volibear is supposed to be a juggernaut I believe, not a tank. That means if you get in close to him he will mess you up.

Well if he is a "juggernaut" why dosent he build black cleaver? he builds like every tank and currently he feels busted

I go titanic, steraks, adaptive, randuins, and frozen mallet top lane. That doesn't seem very tank like to me, not like it matters though. Classes are defined by champion kits, not builds. As is, if you get close to Volibear he will mess you up (And Riot listed him as a juggernaut in their updated class list a while back).

Oh and he doesn't build BC because he does mostly magic damage, he does pick up the occasional wit's end though. Speaking of which I should try out those buffs to wit's end.

Man it dosent matter what you say, because he is the same spot as shen. He can choose between full tank and titanic etc.

Shen is a warden, focusing mainly on shielding damage and peeling. Voli wants to get in your face and fuck you up. Last I was aware Shen doesn't really win trades unless he can get a taunt off when you are too close to his minions (or you are a tank and don't do enough damage to break his shield).

There is tanks and there is bruisers. Choose One.

Its the same as building building off tank and tank.
