What if scrying bloom granted vision to both teams?

And maybe also reveal whoever used scrying bloom?

A lot of complaints I've heard on this subject was about how powerful it is for denying enemy junglers from farming with the threat of counterjungling/invading. By revealing the user of scrying bloom, it makes it more difficult for strong junglers to invade, since they'll be visible as they do so. Using the reveal effect for both teams can also help teams respond to counterjungling.

It is still useful for gaining vision of an area, so I think this will still be useful. Thoughts?

the whole point of it is to give one team an advantage over the other

Doesn't it still give an advantage? The one who uses still gets to decide which part of the map is revealed.

Hello summoner!

Its important to remember the information produced by scrying plant goes both ways. If you look at the minimap it shows the direction and location of the 'sight wave' revealing that a champion is nearby allowing teams to prepare for the counter jungle or use the information to deduce his route and where hes going to strike next.

I realize that, but it can be anyone who used it if not everyone on the enemy team is visible. It gives some information, but not a lot.

When junglers use it and it gives away where they're ganking...

Honestly happens all the time. This would make it worse.

If it comes in to your jungle, throw down a ward near the camp you want to take and ask for allies to be on alert to respond. Have an escape route planned.
