Nasus

Warning: This is coming from someone who mains Quinn top and ADC. You are about to witness extreme saltiness from someone who hates Nasus. This is my QQ thread for him

EDIT: I should've put this in originally, but it's not that I can't win against him. I have and I will. It's that I hate playing against him. He is my grudge ban and likely will be for a long time.

Nasus is a champion that I can't stand to play against. He can easily get some of the highest damage output in a single attack in the ENTIRE GAME, while still building full tank and ridiculously hard to kite when he focuses on you. Most of his abilities are super annoying to play against.

His passive, Soul Eater, gives him 10/15/20% permanent life steal. At max level, he life steals with the strength of a fucking Bloodthirster. This gives him the sustain he needs in lane to simply farm and not care, and if the opponent does try to trade with him, all he has to do is W and E them, and keep life stealing. This passive pisses me off to no end simply because, unless you deal lots of sustained, heavy damage, you will almost never kill this bitch.

His Q, Siphon Strike, is an infinitely scaling basic attack, that stacks by getting kills with it, be it on minions, monsters or champions. The infinite scaling speaks for itself on how annoying this ability is. Any decent Nasus can have 500 stacks at 30 minutes after farming it up. This ability also works on towers, meaning that he can fucking chunk a tower for half it's health late game, and split push like a mother fucker. Because of this ability, you have to stay in lane anytime he does and babysit him, to try and stop him from stacking and melting towers. This means you can't help other lanes or team fight, even if you do get a giant lead on him, simply because he'll just farm up his Q and be super powerful. It takes about 100 stacks for him to be able to trade well with his lane partner and that can happen very quickly, once you get used to farming with it.

His W, Wither, is an extremely potent move speed and attack speed slow. The AS slow is half of the MS slow which goes up to 90 fucking percent. What this spell means is that once you are withered, you can't run, you can't kite, and fighting Nasus will be really hard if you rely on either AS or MS, which many of his matchups do. If Nasus puts this on you, and focuses his attention on you, you can't run. If you don't have a built in escape, you are going to die because you cannot run from this monster of a champion who will run you down and mop the floor with your corpse. This ability makes me the most annoyed when I play against Nasus. It's not like Garen's Q or Skarner's W where they run at you faster or a stun. At least with a stun, I know, OK well, there's nothing I can do to fight back, guess I'll chill till it runs out. With this, you FEEL like you could've done something, but whatever you do is futile because, if you attempt to run, he WILL outrun you and if you try to fight, he will win. It's simply an infuriating ability, that I feel like a nerf to would be justified. You can't kite him during this ability because of the combination of reduced AS and reduced MS stopping anything after one auto from getting to him.

His E, Spirit fire, is a ranged AoE DoT damage effect that reduces armor while in it. This ability, is probably the most balanced thing in his kit. It's relatively easy to avoid once it's placed down so I usually don't have too many problems with it. This ability is fine the way it is as it zones an enemy out of an area for several seconds while not dealing stupid damage.

His ultimate, Fury of the Sands, is a temporary size, health and attack range steroid that also gives AoE damage to nearby enemies. Where to start with this ability? Lets go with AoE damage. This does percent max health magic damage in an AoE around him, which combined with a Sunfire Cape does no small amount of damage to enemies standing close to him. I would rather this deal flat damage as opposed to percent max health damage but otherwise it's ok. Now, onto the main stuff. The health buff is almost a get out of jail free card, because it just gives so much and only makes you tankier. The attack range is annoying because you can use your Q, Siphon Strike from farther away, and the Size buff just kinda looks cool with an elixir of Iron.

Anyways... Thank you to anyone who actually read through the wall of text. This was just me venting on some things I get really frustrated by when I'm playing against a Nasus.

If you were any good you would be able to kite him so he doesn't get a single q off.

You want to try kiting with 90% MS slow and 45% AS slow, couple with the usual Frozen heart? Unless you build full MS and AS, you ain't kiting shit.

Merc treads mastery points qss what else do you need?

That's all well and good, and I usually do get these when i'm against a Nasus, but the problem is that most Nasus' get close to, if not, 40% CDR. This means that if I QSS the Wither, it'll just be up again in 5 seconds and he's too tanky to kill that fast. I should've said this in the thread, and I'm going to add it but, it's not that I can't deal with him, it's that I hate playing against him.

Stop trying to 1v1 him and get help from teammates

See, the problem with this is, Nasus can usually 2v1 or even 3v1 if he's stacked decently, and even then, he'll just wither you and run at you and you can't do squat but hope your team mates brought some heavy cc to the table.
