[Updated] Red Post Collection: August 10th Patch Update, Poppy & Taric Discussion, MF Follow up, & more

So, as a Quinn main, I have hated that, since release, Quinn has seemingly been every rioters main while still being completely ignored bugwise, and champion wise. However, I was extremely excited to see Riot Repetoir (God bless him) actually talk about Quinn on a different thread that got featured in the Surrenderat20 link. While I hope these changes give Quinn the love she most certainly deserves, I do hope they keep her playstyle similar. I would expect these changes to come out during the Marksman rework that will happen after worlds.

TLDR There is hope for us Quinn mains that Riot is looking at her and she will recieve some form of change.

My friend mains morde, both he and i have played him on the PBE, both solo lane and bot lane.. He is not weak by any means. Perhaps you just arn't very good at adapting to his new playstyle. No flame intended, but i dont think he's bad at all.

I also main morde currently, and here is my take on the PBE version. I didn't attempt him solo lane honestly, but in any matchup botlane besides facing an opposing morde, there is absolutely no way to trade effectively. your e simply does not do as much damage as it needs to to trade with enemy autos, and you really have no early game to speak of, unless your support is named leona or thresh. I think that it is ridiculous that you need one of those 2 to be really useful before you hit level 6.

You need to utilize your Q and W in lane and capitalize on the extra XP gain.

i know exactly what you need to do. the problem is, you can't really "utilize your q" in lane unless you have an all in, and you really can't survive that pre-6

Yet morde is the strongest of the reworks, and will likely require nerfs eventually. You could just learn how to work with the team, or master riven to join others of your ilk.

That would be something worth looking at for Riot, that Valor would have seperate cooldowns to Quinn, which would allow her to do more than just be a kamikaze when she ults.

I'm somewhat sure the reason they do the same cooldowns is that they're afraid of the double blind factor, which would be scary. Ho wever if they changed Valor's q to something like a small AoE armor shred that would be amazing.

Just fix her passive and auto, and make her q proc harrier while you're at it, and she will be golden, as she is already good, just annoying to play as sometimes. Also dat "execute" and ms falloff.

A cool idea for a buff to her execute I had was that you could come down anywhere within the AoE so as to allow her to get her target and get out.

The Idea of her being able to come down within a decent radius after her ult is intriguing. It would be even better if her ult also applied an aoe slow on top of the damage. This along with untargettable while using E dash in human and bird form could really go a long way without changing her or buffing her damage. It would give her E some survivability if you could use it as a dodge mechanic like troll poll only a far shorter duration, it puts you in melee range anyway.

Tell me how teemos blind is not only longer but also direct damage and quinns blind is a skillshot for a 1.5 second blind??

I suppose their reasoning for this is that they don't want Quinn to become an oppressive ADC by giving her a scaling blind. Imagine how useful a long-lasting, targeted AA-nullifier would be against other ADCs. That sort of thing could make her pick-or-ban. Then again, you could just take Teemo to the bot lane and sacrifice 25 AA range for the extra blind duration... but he's not really an ADC in the traditional sense like Quinn is.

I'd personally love a Teemo-like blind for Quinn, but I'm biased. It would definitely make her stronger and easier to use.

I guess also it's because quinns can affect mulitple targets but still graves blind can do that and lasts longer too!

Graves' isn't a blind, it just lowers your vision range. A blind makes all auto attacks nullified for a duration.

I meant that it blinds you in a sense, you cant exactly auto graves if you dont have vision of him.

Quinn isn't a problem, the problem is the community. Not every ADC is an "ADC" There are AS/Crit ones(Ashe, Vayne, Sivir), Ranged Caster ones (Caitlyn, Miss Fortune, Varus) And Quinn...well I like to think of her as a ranged Bruiser.
