If you see a teammate that is clearly building some wrong items, do you try to tell him?

Sometimes I played with my friend and get matched up with some low elo players (like silver, gold, for example), and noticed that they were getting items that are not the best based on the situation. I felt that it was especially common in low elo adcs, for example, they got burst down in every team fight and still refused to get any defensive items that could at least give them a few seconds to deal damage. When I tried to tell them, they usually say something like "you are not better than me, why should I listen to you!" "shut up!" "I buy whatever I like"... Have you guys seen people like these? Do you tell your teammate if you think there are better built options?

I see this all the time and im not even ranked, it happens and people are stubborn. i always ask them why they're building that way. sometimes they have a point, other wise they are just stubborn as hell and want to stay in that low elo.

ex: if i see a jinx take a manamune, ill ask them why, if they say they have mana problems i give them advice with using spells more effectively, and tell them to go IE or Hurricane instead, depending on farm. if they tell me to screw off i let them crash and burn

so yea tell them and offer advice, if they dont take it thats there fault

I once built full defense Teemo on my first time as Teemo. Tell them. Trust me. [zombie-nunu-tears]

Guiding people towards better build choices during a game is a delicate art. If you do it wrong, you'll just upset them instead.

I usually try to point out that what they're building isn't the best option in the nicest way possible. Like "Hey, that Garden is doing a bunch of damage to you, maybe try some armor?"

If they don't reply but take my advice/say something and take my advice, mission accomplished

If they ignore me/tell me to shut up, I drop it. No sense in pushing a matter if it won't help you know?
