Depends on the area. Are you in the jungle? If you have mobility or flash, use it to get between a wall since he'll have to go around it. Out in the open? Idk, it's a tricky thing to deal with.

Depends on who you're playing. Guessing by your name that you're a zyra main Mage's only hope is to separate the maximum amount of distance between you and Olaf. Movement speed helps - swiftness boots, etc. Dodge his axes - his slow can easily catch you and melt you There's always a last resort - banning him lol

Do a bunch of damage to him. Just damage him in any way you can and do your best to really hurt him before he reaches you.

Play a different game for awhile -- if you look away and don't see it happen, it didn't happen right? Dodge his axes and run like mad if you don't have the damage to burst him down. : there goes my passive, oh well, nice try maybe you will kill me next time : pop ult... think to yourself: I thought olaf dealt damage with his abilities

But mostly dodge and run unless it's late game and you can just burn him down -- if you dodge the axes and get to teammate or tower, you can probably kill him, escape, or trade 1 for 1. If you can't accomplish that, it means you didn't respect his damage and/or lack of warding by you/your team

Or the best advice, when he throws an ax use your mobility to go a different way. So many times people run straight away allowing him to just pick up axes and own them.

Focus him when he ults. There are things you can do. Why people don't invade his jungle more early I'll never no. He gets really low while clearing a lot.

You should respect Olaf's range and not walk close enough to him to get chased down by his ghost/ult, especially if you know when both of his abilities are coming up. On that note, you also need to have the entrances to your jungle warded, or at least stay out of range of dangerous fog of war.

This might sound silly, but you CC him. Let me explain, Olaf isn't that tanky on his own, he has no defensive steroid beyond the life steal in his W active. To put it simply your team should try to force Olaf to burn either his ragnarock or his ghost at some point before a team fight, you must respect him greatly though when facing him, if he burns ghost/ragnarock odds are you will have to flash to escape. Also remember that when he's ragnarock his resistances go down a bit, so he's more prone to burst. Furthermore he only has a short duration to do this so and finally take grievous wounds against him because it will hinder his life steal

Have thresh take you over a wall. Have Rahm eat you. Lulu shields Targon or locket shields
