Wukong's Decoy

Certain League of Legend's gameplay mechanics make his Decoy irrelevant. The same applies for Akali Shaco Khazix Rengar Leblanc Talon

Lock on abilities shouldn't still track and damage invisible champions.

There's been many occasions I'm against Annie as MonkeyKing with her stun up, I see that slow fireball hurling towards me at .5mph, taking 4 years to get to me, I press W, it floats through my decoy and and hits me. I'm still stunned as I become visible again and take the rest of her combo.

Darius bends his knees, I use Shaco deceive to teleport away invisibly HAHAHAHA!, Darius jumps into the air and spikes nothing as I'm literally 700 range away from him, only to still be executed.

As I dive on top of Caitlyn with Talon she activates her about a second before I do. She continues to channel her ult even though the Blade's Shadow is invisible. I button mash the R key like I'm trying to win an old DBZ: Budokai KI blast struggle to return the blades as quickly as possible to finish her off, only to have her channel complete and be executed while still invisible.

The part that's the most amusing to me, is that Fizz can negate all damage by doing a handstand. Never cloaking, teleporting, literally just does a handstand in your face that can apparently cause a spirit bomb to whiff all of it's damage as it passes through him.

No, if you go invisible you should still take full damage from AoE and skill shot abilities, but I don't think skills should track you while you're invisible.

I'm literally played Kha'zix, cloaked, flashed then leaped and still got hit by Nautilus ult. That doesn't make to get hit by an ability while you have invisibly traveled like 2000 range and crossed terrain twice in the jungle.

On the hand Fizz has no summoner 4 invisibility, just taunts you by wiggling his fish balls in your face, ignores all effects and damage of your ability then slaps your face off with his trident.

I mean sure it can be annoying but most non stealthed champions are treated the same way (can't get away from targets), sure it can be annoying but it's not like being stealthed should make you invunerable to a certain extent, there's a lot of champions that don't need buffs that would be buffed by this, to place a pink ward you get a target, are you going to complain about that too? and sometimes when you stealth it can actually negate their cast but it's only if you do it right when they cast (which is almost impossible to time other than possible prediction) that way just as they click it will register but not do anything.

Not, I'm simply saying the abilities shouldn't hit you. You should still take full damage from AoE and skill shot abilities, but I don't think skills should track you while you're invisible. They should just plain on go on CD, shouldn't even complete the animation.

As Khazix I've cloaked, flashed then leaped and still got hit by Nautilus ult. That doesn't make to get hit by an ability while you have invisibly traveled like 2000 range and crossed terrain twice in the jungle.

Sorry but naut ults you as shaco and you just q and walk away? I don't wanna see that X_X

I think it would improve the gameplay, making it more of how the creator's expected it to be. This would stop 2 champs from ganking top lane and instantly throwing out 3 ults point and click ults (Nautilus, Vi, Brand) with absolutely horrible positioning, 0 strategy or synergy, killing you right out.

You're over exaggerating there, and who says every time a vi, naut or brand ults that it's badly positioned? If someones in a bad position and they do well then you must be in an even worse position and don't say it doesn't matter the position they're in because they just click r, because if that were the case they're obviously in a good enough position to ult you, how is pointing and clicking as lets say shaco to go invisible any more better than their point and click ults? and there aren't really that many stealth top laners, sure wukong is one but you gotta stop thinking OH OP and realize what you yourself could be doing better.

Nautilus and Brand position are irrelevant. Vi just ends up on top you. As opposed to point and click ults that require better strategy and positioning like J4, Lee Sin, Tristana, Cait, Malzahar, Trundle, Urgot, etc.

Each to their own.

That's why you need to use your stealth BEFORE they use their targetted abilities. As a wukong main, I don't think this champ should be a made any stronger as he's IMO already the best soloQ champ in the game.

I agree, but I also think I should be awarded for good reaction timing.

I constantly use Darius Noxian Guillotine as an example because it's extremely telegraphed. When I'm using a champ like MonkeyKing , leaving my decoy in my place before I leap then stepping away, it should hit my decoy. When it comes to other champs, I just don't think he should complete the move. I wouldn't even care if it didn't go on CD, my problem is that it hits me even if I'm nowhere near him and invisible. Darius has caused Leblanc passive to activate with his bleed damage right before his ult, and connected just as her decoy appeared.

Even when I've used XinZhao , I don't feel his ult should hit me if I summoner 4 before his spike. He literally spikes mid air.

I'm rewarded for good timing with Fiora parry. Should be the same with the other champs.

Then we go back to Fizz again. Stands right in front of Darius, twerks his upside down butt in Darius face, get's split down the middle violently being axed in half... but no damage received.

In dota invisibility and some mobility spells break projectiles, it would be a good addition to counter point and click stuff.

It's called a troll poll for a reason

K541 votes

This isn't a troll post. Having invisibility and decoys in your kit are pointless if you can't use them for counter play. Does Ahri's ult hit invisible units? That's also something I need to look into.

The only proper counter function for Wukong's decoy is against Cait's ult.

Ok I miss spelled "pole" and used poll. I didn't say this was a troll "post". I was implying why Fizz's E was called a troll pole because he is basically removed from the map. "Troll Pole"

ooooooh, now I'm in total agreement 😆
