Can we NOT automatically consume Emote Shards you get from Loot?

I would rather have it as a shard and choose what to re-roll or keep. I got two emotes I dont like and thinking now, had they had been shards, I coulda re-rolled with another permanent emote shard and try my luck again for something I'd actually like. It even has a re-roll feature on them but you're rarely ever going to be able to do that with this automatic consuming. Or disenchant into orange essence or SOMETHING.

It's just annoying I don't get options for those.
