does hextech gunblade heal on vayne tru damage?
It does yes.
tru
Wait so.. I could take this on Cho' Gath and heal on every bite? And or take it on Darius and heal a ton during those chaotic team fights?
Yes. Its all in how the passive Omnivamp works:
Unique: Instantly heal for 15% of all damage dealt, including physical, magical and true damage.
This is 33% effective for Area of Effect damage.
This would even include its own active effect, which you can heal off of.
It also heals off of the damage dealt by
's voidlings.
You could. I can't see it being a good choice in either case versus other options, but you'd certainly get the healing.
Thanks for responding Meddler! This is a question I've always wanted to ask.
So, when cool downs go down as you rank an ability, does that start after the next spell cast?
For example, an ult has a 60 sec cooldown. If I cast it now, it'll still have the 60 secs. But if I wait, rank it up, then cast it, the cooldown will be 50 secs, right?
Well...
Yes...
That makes logical sense.
Do you mean Spell 1 has a 60 second cd at rank 1, but a 50 second cd at rank two.
You cast spell 1, then rank it up while it's still on cd?
The CD is determined when you cast the spell.
If you purchase CDR or level the ability after casting it, the remaining cooldown is unchanged.
i wouldn't see why would you take it over deaths dance. well yeah you heal off the ult damage but its a big waste of stats. you'd heal more off your passive damage and the little Qs in between than the ults

I mean it just says it heals on all damage you do. There's no logical reason that it wouldn't heal off any particular type of damage.
but why spent 3400 gold on 40 ad
I don't see why it wouldn't.
It's only 15% even if you hit someone for 1k true dmg it's still nothing.

150 HP is huge.
