he's untouchable. he dashes away and slows me, so I dash to him, and then he dashes away again, then the whole team sandwiches him and he flashes out, burns heal, slows the entire team and dashes away. what the fuck do I do here? this guy is so popular in ranked that half of my hate for this game comes from blue ezreal. i cant ban him either, as lucian, ekko, and zed still exist and are still ban worthy. is there any like, counter to him that I dont know about? surely there has to be something

Corki. Thresh/Naut support can lock him down. Blue EZ gives up some normal adc dmg so engage quickly and take out other targets.

blue ezreal is very low damage output from an ADC, he thrives on long drawn out fights and being able to kite, the best thing you can do is pick hard engage and a pen build.

so putting a sejuani on your team and building item 3071 item 3035 as 2 items of your kit will be very effective.

Have 2 or 3 tanks on your team with at least one hard engage like malphite. He might be able to get away but you'll consistently win team fights as he just simply doesn't have the team fight damage that a normal adc possesses.

Ezreal is definitely hard to catch in solo queue but I think he has a few weaknesses.

Blue ezreal has to build tear of the goddess and that can only happen by sacrificing early dps. Use that 850 gold advantage and you can engage for trades in your favor. You should be able to at least hurt the enemy support.

He also does not scale hard until 25 minutes into game by which he will have full stacks on the tear of goddess. This means that if you pressure towers he won't have time to scale.

It's difficult to build penetration item on Ezreal because it would be his fourth core. He would build iceborn, manamune, then botrk before building armor pen. If he skips botrk and builds armor penetration he will lose attack speed. Therefore your team can rush armor.

He also has low movement speed and relies on skill shots for damage output. You can stand behind minions or summons.
