If Singed winrate skyrockets, it's because of retired mains.

A lot of Singed mains have retired because of the state of their champ. He simply wasn't the fun AP Bruiser he used to be. Now that he is starting to be again, they are back and winning a lot. Because lets face it, they have been playing for years on a crippled champion. Now that Singed is back to a playable state, they are going to win and gain rank until they are at an actually fitting elo to their skill.

I do hope Riot keeps that in minds before they nerf him.

I don't think there are over 50k Singed mains

With over a 100million monthly players, and quite a bunch "retired", 50k seems reasonable. Thats 1 in 2000 players.

He was doing exceptionally well in pro play a while ago though so....?

As a full tank answer to Poppy. Singed did nothing but run at people and initiated for a coordinated team, then did nothing again for a while. No way comparable.

A champion like singed has never had a general purpose. He's always been a niche pick and will always remain one unless his fundamental kit is changed. Giving grounding on him won't be the revolutionary change that takes him out of being a strict counterpick.
