Orianna unfairly beaten down?

Orianna's passive is to add magic damage to her auto attacks, so then Riot lowers her AA dmg to compensate? Why should a champion get penalized for having a passive? Similarly, her shield gives armor/MR, so then Riot lowers her MR to compensate? I mean wth, why give her any bonuses at all and just keep her normal... I know that her passive scales throughout the game (even if it's "relatively" worthless later on), and that Riot didn't want her play-style to be too safe (probably to keep assassins dominating the meta). But still, I barely see her played these days, and she really does need the extra magic resist sometimes! Also, yeah I'd be nice to have the extra powerful AA early for farming/poking too especially against early assassins. I don't remember her being OP before, just that the pro scene seemed to like to first pick Orianna as a pick that doesn't get countered as hard. That doesn't seem to be a justified reason to penalize her for having a passive or a shield.

Do you really think Orianna is a problem, or would be a problem if they reverted these changes? It just seems unfair, compared to every other champ in the game, to penalize her for her passive and shield.

her passive is supposed to reward her for multiple attacks not for poking someone with a single AA then walk away, that's why she can't outrade someone with her single AA without being too strong

also she already have her spammy and safe kit,add here a passive that allow her to outdamage you with something as realiable as autoattacks and you make a monster during the laning phase that keeps her power in teamfight with her peel/AoE CC
