People saying Dunkey Made good points

First off the complaints that dunkey made in his video hold all but are not limited to EVERY FUCKING MOBA. Dunkey doesn't have a problem with league he has a problem with the moba genre. People afking, feeeding, being toxic, not being fun after certain ammounts of time is in all mobas. When you have a genre last from 20 minutes to hour long games were you can't solo carry like COD and actually have to work as a team you run into these problems.

Now i'm not defending riot in champion design and balance in some cases but i think they've done a better job than most mobas which is why it's still numero uno. You can take dota 2 approach make every ridiculous op and don't have items scale with abilities and abilities are just naturally strong as you level up. But then you run into the problem of certain heroes literally just being flat out weaker than others with or without items.

Or you can follow smite were everything is for the most part balanced if you have waveclear and aoe your super slow, if you have mobility and high damage you have no aoe waveclear or high survivablity. But then you run into the problem of the game getting so dull because theres no stupid op fun champion like in league or dota.

You can't expect to review league in 2 to 3 minutes and not give out specific points. He based everything on the moba genre and not league as a whole. While i do admit league is far from perfect and never will ever get close but as a game in the moba genre i feel is doing pretty good. (Even thought just yesterday i thought about quitting xD)

feeders and trolls have more impact on league players than any other game. you have no control whatsoever where your lp goes when you start up a "5v5" game. so he was right in most points. this game is being turned into club penguin with the catering of the children. if you cant take a cuss word, get the fuck out of here and go play runescape or some shit.

but he didn't just say a cuss word. If he would have said maplhite u stupid fucking dumb bitch. No one would have cared. He told him he should get gunned down. If this person actually did get gun downed they would go straight to dunkey.

Other games don't punish players in ranked if teammates are AFK or trolling? Somehow I doubt that.

Yeah, maybe leave out the insults. Fuck isn't the problem here. Using it to insult someone is the problem. I swear all the goddamn time. I say fuck probably 40% of my games. I just never say fuck you to anyone unless it is clearly, 100% in a joking context. Fuck isn't getting you banned. Insults are.

No one gives even a single fuck about cursing, and even if anyone does, no one gives a fuck about them. People give a shit about insults, and that is what is getting you in trouble.

Yeah, you're not as bad as you could be, but you're still insulting people. That's still unacceptable. You could be worse, but you're still past the threshold.

There's a difference between talking shit and insulting someone. I don't buy for even a single second that you're on the right side of that line. Telling someone bluntly that they suck isn't shit talking.

I talk shit all the time. Everyone I know does. It never gets us banned. I've been honored for it. You know why? Because I'm actually talking shit and making people enjoy the game more instead of just insulting them.

You're not allowed to insult people. Deal with it or leave.

Buuuuuulshiiiiiit. This is not just League. Insults have become a bannable offense in most other MOBA games. I have 3 friends who have been banned from Dota for verbal abuse, and that's for the same shit you're complaining about, not death threats or cancer wishes. Same for Smite. People have started complaining about getting banned for this in HoTS. Pretty much any game where you have to rely on your teammates and you're at a disadvantage if you automatically mute them doesn't let you insult people. Play another Moba and see how well-loved you are for telling people they suck. I'm betting you hit LPQ in 2 days with that kind of attitude.

People chucking insults around in other games isn't a respected and well-liked part of the gaming community. There is a reason people make fun of the X-box twelve year olds who can't help but "shit-talk" at any opportunity. This shit deserves to be mocked, not celebrated.

Here's a suggestion, and I really mean this: if you're frustrated, don't type. Bitch to yourself. I talk horrible, miserable things about my teammates more often than I'd like to admit, but none of them ever hear it because I say it out loud or in my own head. I don't need them to hear it. They don't need to hear it. It does no one any good. It would just be narcissistic ego-stroking to start throwing my anger at them.

You don't need to behave like an angel. You just need to not be aggressive. Being totally quiet and moving past it (or just banging your head into your desk in rage) isn't that hard. This really isn't that much to ask.

I mean, do you think it's an unreasonable request? Seriously, that's a real question I have, and I don't mean it to be rhetorical or sarcastic or anything. Do you think that's too much to ask?

Good shit-talking is not something you do when you're frustrated. It should come from happiness, not anger. Real shit-talking, actual friendly stuff that makes the game more fun for almost everyone, is still allowed. Like I said, I do it all the time. Insulting people is what gets you banned, not shit-talk. Hell, watch QTPie's games. See how often they rip on each other.

Yeah, it is, so avoid doing shit that makes it unpleasant for other people. Don't be a dick. If people are reporting you, they think you're being a dick. The game should be fun. Don't intentionally make it less fun for people.

did you not read my comment. Its not the fact he wants someone to it's the fact his comment was about someones life. And like i said if that dude actually did get gunned down, whether dunkey wanted that dude to get gunned down or not the cops would go to dunkey first.

If I saw you in a game and you missed a shot as Jinx and I say "Not even close B)" do you think I'm being a toxic flamer or am I trying to say something funny to you? saying not even close is friendly shit talk which everyone does and riot promotes that type of banter among players, they even show it in the pro scene. But telling someone to die, kill themselves, or im going to kill you is not acceptable and goes against the rules they established, which you accepted when you made an account and went into the game. You are literally saying its ok to break the rules the company has made. Plus this post was never about the toxic behavior in his video it was the comments made about gameplay & balance so im done with this convo.

If you need to insult someone to have fun, you might need to reconsider what you're doing. There's a difference between trash talk/commentary adding to the experience and it being the experience.

Being insulted still can get on someone's nerves even if they get muted right afterwards. Better to not have the insults in the first place. Muting is a part of the solution, not the whole solution, particularly when multiple people in the game start slinging shit at each other. People unloading their own bullshit doesn't make the game any better, so I'm not really feeling bad if their play gets restricted for it.

they do not apply to every moba ... dunkey is in fact pointing out things that are bad specificaly with lol ... every moba has something different in it and many points he made dont apply to other mobas
