The warding situation

As a support only player since the beginning of my League time, I have to say now is the absolute worst time time to be a support player. There is a simple cause to this: most of your vision is locked behind support quest item. That means, in lower elos, you'll have little to no vision for the first 12+ minutes. This is also a cause for games to snowball out of control in one direction or the other. If the enemy team goes hard on your botlane, especially against your shield or coin wielding supports, your vision capabilities are completely stunted. Once they gain that edge it becomes a drowning battle that you never really come back from. Enemy support is able to upgrade their item, complete their quest, and swap out their trinket while you're receiving no gold, no stacks, depending on every trinket cooldown because you're stuck at tower due to no vision. The solution should be this: remove the quest, just get rid of it completely, or make it increase total placeable/holdable wards. Upgrading to level 2 support item should allow 2 wards. Upgrading to the eye should increase it to 4. If the game is trying to put all the late game warding on the supports anyways make the quest a longer one that increases ward placement/capacity to a more valuable late game number. This should inspire more supports to be proactive throughout the whole game since there is a thing they will need to work towards for the late game while still having access to the wards they need for the early game. It will also change up how the botlane is played quite a bit considering the ability to swap to sweeping trinket much sooner. It will turn a very strategic location of the map into a more interesting battle field as there will be many ways to ward and deny vision much earlier in the game, and it will also deny the unfortunate snowball of the lane if the enemy team decides to just deny you getting any wards early in the game.
