Thoughts From A Bronze 5
But before i get to those thoughts, i thought id propose a type of practice for bronze players.
They need to understand this game is not about kills. Too often do i see teams lose, and blame each other for feeding or not carrying hard enough... but the enemy team has all their towers still standing... Things like roaming before you've even won lane Getting a couple of kills or worse, none at all, and abandoning the lane to your opponent because you have 20 more farm, is not winning lane Their tower is still up, you are no closer to winning and guess what? You give them the freedom to take your tower, putting THEM one step closer to beating YOU
So in proposition of practicing the goal of the game being to take the Nexus I think bronze players should either go into a 5 man team against bots or if they have enough bronze friends play a double match up
The Rules Team A/Blue, Is NOT ALLOWED to get kills, dragons or barons, they have to win the game with no kills or as few as possible taking into account the possibility of towers getting kills
Team B/Red is allowed to play normally
After they complete a match, the rules switch sides
Team B/Red is not allowed to get kills etc Team A/ Blue can play normally
NO ITS NOT IMPOSSIBLE If you think its impossible you've already lost
Ive had the pleasure of being in games where my team had no dragons or barons and the other team had 7 drag and 2 barons And we still won
Now to my thoughts:
I WANT to climb out of Bronze, I want to one day be Diamond... but im also willing to accept the fact that it wont happen today... it wont happen tomorrow and it may not happen ever
But regardless of the chances ahead of me Im going to do the best i can
People like to complain about champs being op Fiora, and Lux is one ive seen recently popping up in name dropping OPness
Neither of them are a problem for me, i wipe the floor with them
Am i a good player? No Not even remotely I dont ward enough, something that im trying to condition myself to do more Im happy if i get 1 or 2 or 3 kills More kills than that and more than likely its not that im "good" its that my opponent is making mistakes
10, 20, 30, 50, 60+ kills in a game where kills literally dont mean anything, good for you, its a shame you still lost because i backdoor your nexus singlehandedly while your team and my team are fighting for baron
Baron obviously wasnt that important
MY goal, is to win the game I dont care if i come away without a single kill I STILL WON MY TEAM STILL WON
And thats what matters to me, that we achieved what we play the game to achieve
But we cant achieve it if our goal is to worry about k/d/a
I have a long way to go, but being B5 i dont think i will ever escape But im going to do everything i can to get out of there
And you know what? If i can have fun wiping the floor with the ragers, and forfeiters
More power to me
