A lot of people on these boards always complain about supposedly "easy, no skill" champions that kill them without trying.
Now, let's find the opposite. ;)
What, in your opinion, is the most difficult champion in the game to play?
I've watched a friend fall asleep playing her. Hardest champ to play because staying awake is part of the skill curve

I don’t know if he should be on the list but his main skill shot Q takes a lot of practice. Probably one of the hardest, and you need to hit it for a large portion of your damage and you gotta hit it every second.
is up there idk for sure if hardest but I'm not including things that are super team reliant or nerfed for competitive reasons. Timing is key and knowing your barrel distances and surviving early are difficult.
According the boards. Immobile mages and tanks.

and come to mind having skillshots, short dashes, in nidalee's case also requiring extra planning to make use of her traps, and managing a set of 7 abilities in combos.

Azir/Kalista
Any champ with a simple/telegraphed kit. Good luck playing them against anyone remotely decent, even worse if they have no mobility.
I have no idea how people get fed on this champ and even less of an idea of how people actually feed this champ. She is slow as fuck and all her spells are short range. She has like every single weakness a champ could possibly have.

Alot of people keep saying Azir is the hardest. I find Azir capable of so much more than Annie. With Azir, I'm actually able to get stuff done. With Annie, all I do is walk around while everyone dashes and blinks away, kill my team mates and then turn on me. I literally cannot do anything useful with Annie. I respect anyone who can carry with her.
The hardest champions: 
I tend to disagree heavily on is difficult, because of how overstat she is, statistically with one of the highest winrates and pickrates she dominates solo queue. I also dont think champions like 
who are extremely hard to punish for poor positioning are hard. Positioning is one of the things in this game that makes it incredibly difficult to master. And realistically mages arent very difficult to play at all. has one of the highest pickrates and lowest winrates throughout all ranks

Not necessarily in that order.
There were about 5 honorable mentions, but they can have some moderate success even if hard to master because of parts of their kits:
in my opinion.
- clunky, disjointed, boring kit
- not hard, but getting in range feels impossible, so in practice making what is supposed to do = achievement
- the projectile speed of his R is too slow, so you will often miss or troll your team
Other champions like Zoe, Yasuo, Riven etc are not hard to play, but take time to learn.
THESE are the champs that require SKILL to play.
probably Azir is the hardest. Leblanc is pretty tough too.
Easiest champ is Ziggs, I mean you will never get zoned with ziggs since he can spam Q at a wave to farm if you are facing a fed fizz. Sure he has skill shots that take time to land but the CD of Q gets so low at max CDR it's ok if your aim sucks, you get lots of practice shots.

It depends what you mean. Hardest champion to play the champion or hardest champion to play the game with?
Hardest champion to play the champion is probably because of her auto attack canceling and numerous other mechanics that have unnatural interactions. That said, she's heavily compensated with her AD scalings on everything and her mobility.
Hardest champion to play the game with is probably 
because the player has literally no agency or kill pressure. He effectively has 3 skills his passive (which is now worse than a standard spell shield), Q/W/E and R. He's Q/W/E, can literally be bound to a mouse macro. Yet all of his kill potential is based on if the enemy uses their escapes to engage and if they don't do any damage to your glass voidlings.
personally I can do fine on any champion except Gangplank
