A note to Devs that may not be paying attention: The rage posts seem more serious this time.

I get it. I’ve been a part of many gaming communities over there years, and in all of that time, the forums were always a constant mess of complaining or otherwise lamenting how “terrible” the game was becoming.

“Why haven’t you nerfed this yet?! WTF Devs!” “I haven’t been able to ____ in months, pls buff!” “This game is trash, I’m leaving.” All perfectly normal, constant posts in any given game forum.

I’m sure it is very easy to brush aside the current complaints as “just more noise.”

However, in all the years of all of the games that I have played, I have never seen quite this many “I’m leaving” QQ posts all at once or one thing so solely raged about in tandem quite as much as damage/short games are here.

There is a feeling on these forums that is different this time. It is hard to describe. There is this idea that the developers honestly no longer care about the playability of the game over the length of time the game takes. And, I don’t mean “no longer care” in the rage post sense that gets tossed about for kicks by the “QQ I’m leaving” posts. I mean quite seriously, a significant portion of the playerbase on these forums just exude the underlying assumption that devs don’t care about playability, even when they aren’t raging.

...You may want to listen to these ones. That is all.

Well, let's see what happened recently...Conqueror was introduced (pushing tanks down to the bottom), Ignite was buffed (more assured kills for assassins), Marksmen are being tossed like trashbags, jungle is in a chokehold of champ select, snowball returned hard... Honestly, Riot is making a worse mess for the game than my dad AND sister does to my house combined (and fyi, that's really messy, like half the house is untrackable.)

When they start listening it'll be too late, anyone without an addiction to this game will already be gone because they didn't care about our discontent.

A couple of patches ago, all my friends quit the game. But not like "I quit!" and then return next day like they usually did, no they all deinstalled the game. All 10 of us instantly quit and didn't play again. I played 3 more or so....then I quit. I just cannot find enjoyment in the game anymore, the balancing isn't even that far off champion specific wise, it's more that people left and right are oneshotting each other like it's nothing. And that's what it feels like. When I see someone explode I don't think "haha he got outplayed" I just think "Hey look he died instantly what a surprise". That's what it feels this game has come down to. And that's what pushed so many people I knew over the edge.

I'm sad that the game we played together daily for like 6 years is now gone, but I cannot bring myself to open the client anymore.

I actually uninstalled yesterday. Funnily, I wasn't even frustrated, I just felt that I no longer enjoyed the game but rather it was a burden. I just come here to see if anyone else feels the same way :)

I agree - My (greatly) diminished friends list and longer queue times agree too.

There has been a massive decline in Esports views because people are sick of how they lack any real skill now. People pretty much know which champs are going to be played and there is a major lack of diversity. It is also boring to just watch a "Imma 100-0 you" with no counter play in .5sec.

The damage in this game is the worst it has ever been. There has been NUMEROUS boards that have listed the problems with how the damage has creeped up to the state it is in and why it shouldn't be like it is.

Item diversity for AP sucks. I'm sorry but it really does. ADs have a much better diversity for what they want and can access.

Tanks have been smacked down again thanks to the runes like conq and when comboed with IE why even bother building armor when you have a better chance of just going a pure "I'm going to punch you to 0 HP in .5 sec" champ.

Supports were nerfed ( shielders and healers aka enchanters ) and don't get me wrong some of them really needed it, but there was also some that got indirectly hit who didn't get any form of compensation for this.

JG has become a joke again. The scuttle changes were completely unnecessary and if you are soloQing good luck getting people to help you try to contest for one.

AP champs were nerfed and now we have this mess of assassins in mid lane. ADCs were hit so now we have mages living in bot lane / yas.

I'm all for changes to the game, but a lot of this just didn't make sense. Especially when people have crunched the numbers for items, and given very solid arguments on why certain things didn't need to be shifted like they did. ESPECIALLY during ranked season. What is the point of having a pre-season when you are shifting the meta right in the middle of a season?

Doesn't matter how serious we are or not.

We're no longer the target audience.

We're not chinese or korean kiddies stuck in internet cafes.
