Riot Games turned Akali into a minion... congrats

With the most recent update you made one of the coolest champions in the game which I loved literally unplayable. If you really wanted to nerf Akali but keep her viable, this is far from being the correct way.

I suggest now, reverse these nerfs. She was already weak and even needed a few buffs. But if you want to nerf her, here is what I suggest.

Keep that W update, it's fine.

Passive damage: 30/45/60/75 (levels 1/6/11/16) + 10% total AD + 15% AP

Q cost: 100/90/80/70/60 Q damage: 70/85/100/115/130 + 60% AP (no more AD)

E cost: 50/45/40/35/30 E damage: 40/60/80/100/120 + 30% total AD + 20% AP E cooldown: 30/28/26/24/22 sec

R dash 1 damage: 50/100/150 + 30% total AD R dash 2 damage:

Lowest: 40/80/120 + 20% AP
Highest: 200/400/600 + 100% AP

I am against her getting destroyed. One of the best champions in the game. I love her personality. If they have problems with her current design, then why not reverse-rework her to what she used to be but keep her new look?

Or sure, they can tweak numbers as I did up there.

Oh I know she is hard to play, I put her in the exact same wheelhouse as Riven where the level of power she had was high because of the skill ceiling she has.

I don’t think she should have been nerfed personally but by that same notion, let’s not act like her getting nerfed wasn’t asked for.

No irony intended, it's saying the truth. Riven is just an average difficulty champion, unless you have to make outplays, that can be rather hard. But nothing as close as Akali. Or say Lee Sin. Not even talking about Azir.

And you are saying these things out of experience right? You have put time into Riven to test these claims? Let me guess, you have a Riven challenger account that you totally have but aren’t going to show but totally have to back up your claim?

No, you are saying this because Riven historically beats you so you ignore all evidence supporting any statement that doesn’t fall in line with your view of her. Do you know what Riven’s Win rate has been at your elo? 44 to 46 percent, not counting current patch because it has only been a day, but let me guess I’m not allowed to use those numbers.

My point is that people here never consider the flip side, they never consider others mains. They just whine based purely off nothing but conjecture, look for an echo chamber for people to whine alongside them, ignore every piece of evidence against it and ESPECIALLY never put their money where their mouth is and actually play these OP champions because they would rather sit in their squalor and be right then risk playing the champion and learning they are wrong.

I’m tired of it, this place doesn’t want balance, it wants fun so if this place wants to ruin champions based off such, so be it, I just want people to remember that when it is their champion on the chopping block.

People did learn to play her. She wasn't weak before the nerfs. She needed to be nerfed, she was too strong in high elo and pro play because people knew how to play her.

But things like this R are. Akali is meant to be hard. Also 120 energy rank 1 for real on Q? That's straight up making her useless, considering how slowly energy regens. Compare her to Riven. Riven has 0 costs, so does Yasuo. Until she gets enough energy in time, they can smack her when she's out of W.

Akali needed a buff, not a nerf. She's the hardest champion in the game after Azir and probably Syndra. Yasuo is still slightly easier, but he's in the top 5 too.

In case you didn't see the energy changes they initially made for PBE, it was 140 at rank 1 down to 100 at rank 5.

Sure, she now has too much energy to spare because Presence of Mind, but if she's the only one using that, why not remove energy generation from the rune, and done, no need to increase her costs.

Oh wait, I forgot, bad players rely too much on that extra energy, if we remove it and make them have to actually manage her costs, they will feed even more than before, so can't do that, need to make her easy to play.

I am fine if they remove energy gen on that rune. I don't use it anyways. But if they don't revert her Q energy to at least halfway 110 to 90, I will be forced to use it.

Honestly the nerfs to the w and r should be reverted. Akali's energy cost on the q was main problem, since it let her poke out basically every melee champion which was the reason she has seen so much play.

The fact that the q spam hasn't been nerfed until now is really sad.

Personally in my opinion I would of like Akali to have gotten a shifted in power and now just nerfs and Riot has done a horrible job of what gets nerfed.

Sona needs a buff on her heal, but not her damage. She's a support before all. She also needs lower mana costs. And... maybe a bit more HP at level 1? She's crazy low. Something like 510 HP would be better for her.
