Sitting Out Season Six

Ever since I started playing this Game, there has been only three bans per side. This was ideal back when I joined towards the end of 2011. Now that the roster has expanded to over twice the size it used to be, there simply isn't enough bans to effectively make ranked play worthwhile anymore. With Illaoi released and trampling matches everywhere, this makes it so that bans in lower tiers automatically make her on the permanency list. That leaves other strong champions open for drafting (such as Yasuo), which then often leads to one-sided games.

Therefore, until the ban size has been increased to ten overall (five per team), I am sitting Season Six out. On top of the fact that penalties are more punishing then rewards are...well, rewarding...there's very little point to play ranked any further when losses counter for two wins. It's anti-progress and not terribly fun to continue playing when the odds are stacked so heavily against the individual player. Whatever happened to the days when divisions were easier to climb? At least in other ranked queues in other MOBAs, the points received and lost aren't nearly as unbalanced. So, yeah, just like in Season Five, I'm not gonna be around much for Season Six until the Game's ban size is increased.

In the meantime, I can level up my force faction in Supernova and get familiar with more Commanders.
