Climbed 6 ranks in Flex Queue since it came out, now this...

For some reason your system thought "Hey, this person hasn't been Bronze in years, eh Bronze anyway!!! lolol" and I let it slide, figured the system was weird and I would just climb out.

I did.

I played a little over 30 games including the placements and was skipping ranks like nobodies business. Went from Bronze 4 to Silver 1 with a little time and work and was pressing into Gold to finally be rid of these Bronze games. Then you got a new plan. Let's retroactively "fix" Flex Queue and then base new placements off of one game! Genius!

This is the game I got. LITERALLY no way I could have won that game and your new "fixed" system saw fit to revert almost all of my progress based off one game where I didn't even get a chance to play. (Note that this is not "name and shame", I'm not mad at my team for not being able to beat players they had no business being matched against, it's legitimately not their fault)

I also watched imaqtpie play a game that was a completely imbalanced blowout as well and get awarded with the highest rank possible yet again off of just one game. The poor fools he crushed probably got their rank destroyed over it as well.

I usually stand behind alot of your decisions, but this one was on of the dumbest ones possible. You took a lot of players time and just flushed it while simultaneously making sure that our challenger overlords get to keep their place at the top no matter what.

Will this be "Fixed" again or do we all just have to hope to god we can get decent games enough times in a row to climb out again?

I feel your pain. I literally just went from Silver IV to Bronze III after WINNING this "fixed" placement match. There's no way this is accurate. Thats with 11/14 games won this preseason. >.>

they revoke it all :( Flex was another solo mirror from last placement season 6 .

I feel your pain I was placed bronze 1 after my 10 games played some yesterday get to promos win 2 in a row and go to bed get on today knowing I only need to win one game than I'm silver 1 but w8 I'm not in promo anymore wtf is this need to pay 1 game to redetemin my placement ok ill win it and get silver that way.... wins game ok what am I placed... wtf bronze 2 please explain how a win puts me further back.

people need to realize this one thing about league.

its a logarithmic scale, where all of the best players in the world got placed in plat 1. for every game that they win in order to climb so many more must be beneath them who are losing, its pure math.

by definition, that means the majority gets placed about 4 ranks below where they should be at the start of the season.

riot also stated they were going to be going at it harder this time around to fix the fallout of dynamic boost.

so that means... more than 4... oh look, plat players are now in silver, big whoop, they'll get out in no time.

im asking for the sake of the ladder to just bare with it, everyone goes to bronze, and everyone can climb at their leisure.

its only a factor of time which you choose to put in

side note since mmr is so heavily bonked right now, you have mixed bronzies and actual platinum+ players on teams together, that throws game balance out the window, its up to you to decide if you want to play a game like that. or make a smart choice and opt not to play until the fallout is over.

Flex was a joke in general. DQ was cancer.

Playing with friends doesn't work in league, time to get rid of it.
