I never understood how people could main boring, one-dimensional, linear champions.

Such as Malzahar, who have no outplay potential, who can't do anything "flashy."

I like champions like LeBlanc. Even after 3,000+ games played with her, you still learn new tricks to use according to the situation. By the way, only noobs think that LeBlanc is an easy champion and that there is "not much to her," other than Q>R>W>E (you read that on mobafire, right?). If you're below Diamond 1 75+ LP your opinion is not worth anything.

There, now we can have a discussion without the need for mud slinging.

Boring and cool are subjective.

Was good until you said anyone below Diamond 1 has an invalid opinion as that just is not true

The less you have to pay attention to making mechanically intense and creative moves for your champion, the more time you can spend thinking about larger strategy of the game such as wave management, when to roam, teamfight positioning, or other such stuff.

Some people would rather focus on that because they don't want to or aren't capable of making #lcsbigplays.

well, outplay potential isnt everything. Hell ive outplayed a lee sin as bard before, a bard is "a trash champion" so to speak. is this intended to be a venting thread? seems more like you just wanna call people noobs then anything. (btw malzahar is stupid fun, try him out)

I will defend my Kayle until her inevitable rework. Just because a champion doesn't have insane outplay potential (and I'd argue all do to some degree) doesn't make them "bad". Kayle for instance is a 'boring', "Q then auto for days" champion, but that's still fun, and you still have to rely on positioning/game knowledge.

Then why are you here?

I kind of agree, I can't take any annie, garen, malz etc mains because they all offer the same playstyle in every sitation.

Sadly the game has shifted to catering towards easy champions that do the same thing in every situation rather than champions that can have many options and outplay potential.

I should play Garen. I never played him since season 2 or 3 maybe. Whoops. XD But I love playing Malzahar. You can always find new things to do with champions. Ok, I admit that with some it's easier to do like Thresh. This champion is so much fun. ^^
