What are the best supports in Ranked (Bronze, Silver)?
Just want to know what peoples opinions are on the best support campions that contribute a lot to winning a ranked game.

Beware of the "solo carry 'support'" attitude. It leads to a certain problem I see with Annie "supports". The ADC misses one opportunity for a kill, and suddenly, the support decides the ADC can't carry, and starts taking CS, roaming, not placing wards, and generally not being a support anymore.
Last time this happened to me, I was lucky TF came down to support me, and our JG was really sharp. We ended up carrying Annie through it in the end through sheer determination and teamwork.
Work to be a real support, one whose purpose is to help the team get kills and objectives. You'll have to learn how to do it eventually anyway.

Very much this^ Be the dark knight for the team. The one they need but don't deserve. Even in low elo a good support can be better than a "support"
Whichever ones you are good with.
You probably want a tank, a healer, someone with CC/peel, and someone with poke if you are going to main support.
I may not be from NA, but as a typical player who enjoys adc best:
Tank:
,
,
Highlight:
Nautilus - You have cc, you are tanky, you have engage - way to help your adc and team
Braum - CC, engage + disengage, pretty good for those unsure what's needed
Squishies:
,
,
Highlight:
Soraka - You don't have to do much, only look at the map and press ult when needed, the most annoying for enemy team
Zilean - Mostly because exp sharing and his ult to help carries
Weird picks:
- All hail Satan. It's so wrong, but it feels so good, when your support Teemo just blinds the enemy adc and you have free win on a trade.
Risky picks:
,
,
Zyra - You have good stuff, but your adc may be douche and not really cool with taking cs, your damage, or (accidentally) taking kills. Seen few situations in which adc destroyed whole game for the team, because of Zyra supp.
Bard - You have cool kit, and it's really weird to play against you. But land that one bad ult, and you're technically an enemy to your own team </3.
-- Bonus: Best thing I can say is - Taking Leona or Blitzcrank is really risky, and if you want one of them, you must see how well you fit into the team comp. You don't really want to pull tank into your team and just lose the team fight, or jump into everyone and die first. In addition, taking Alistar may as well be kind of not rewarding, even though he's a strong/great support.
Reminder:
-- IMO this is what is important in support role on lower ranks(and not only). I know I should just write supports, but UGH I can't seem to stop writing.
Thankss so much man!
zyra, brand, velkoz
anyone who can solo carry the game aka any mage that you can stick a sighstone on and call support

Whoever you feel comforable with.
If you want to climb I recommend

Agreed if you want to climb use these and only these support, build ap ss item then go ap. I was bronze 5 started using zil and am in gold.
Everyone suggesting mages but if you want a real support I'd suggest
I was stuck in bronze for over a year. Then reached B1 and literally won something like 14/15 games straight with her to reach s4. And I'm usually a Jungle/Top main. Just said screw it, I'll be the support so people don't fight about not wanting it.
Once I was in Silver I went back to my main lanes till I got S1. Guess what I did? Queue Leona and hit Gold that day.
Just tell you're adc you're hyper aggressive and I've they're ok with it. Dive dive dive. And once you strike fear into them you can simply zone with W if you want.
And if you want to try to carry go
and literally sit on their ADCs face all game
People in lower ranks are usually out of position, and don't tend to avoid his grab very well, which mean's they're probably dead. Just make sure you DONT pull in someone like Alistar.. Usually..
Can do a lot of damage, and has an ult that's just, well, amazing for the fustercluck that is known as teamfights. In lane her plants can be difficult for less capable players to deal with, and her root is great too.
Tahm Kench is a good supp for climb up in bronze.
I'm getting a pretty high win rate with
and
in silver despite not being especially good with either.
