Best support for splitpushing

So, I've been thinking that, with extremely safe ADC's (Kalista, Tristana, Lucian, etc) in a team with enough cc to protect them well (Nautilus jungle, Lulu top, etc) the support ends up being a bit of a deadweight, so, with the new splitpushing support items (item 3060 , item 3056 , The void gatey thing on the PBE) it would be possible to play a support whose main purpose is to splitpush and take turrets, if the enemy team sends someone to stop him, they are relinquishing more power in a 4v4 than the team who sent their support, if the enemy team tries to chase him, he gets away (I'm thinking some of the fastest or mobile supports like Janna, Blitzcrank, Lulu) and if they stubbornly keep the 4v5, his team takes it defensively while the support pushes and takes turrets very fast.

What do you think about this idea?, who would be the best candidates?, best build?, this is assuming, of course, group-wide communication, so it's something more for a premade 5v5.

Azir.

No, seriously. Azir support is hilariously broken.

He has an OK lane phase, but that's not why he's a broken support.

He's a broken support because he literally transitions into a hard carry without even sacrificing support items. You still get a Sightstone/Talisman of Ascension.

Then you buy Nashor's Tooth and instantly become god. You go from having no damage to hitting like a freight train on steroids, because your Sand Soldiers' inherent scaling + the absolutely MASSIVE attack speed spike from Nashor's (more than any other item in the game) about quadruples your damage output.

And because Azir's W also functions as a tower nuke, you push for days.

If the enemy wants to stop you, they have to get through your wall of nope + your W+Q+E combo first, and Talisman of Ascension.

Nautilus support can splitpush pretty well (for a support).

I'm not sure you'd really wanna fully commit to splitpushing as a support (support your team instead!) but he has decent waveclear with W and E, can fit any of the splitpushing items and has decent escape with his Passive, Q, E and R.s

I think pretty much every support is better for picks and teamfighting though so I'm not sure it's worth doing more than getting an occasional lane pushing. No "support" supports will be able to take towers quickly.

Malzahar Support for days. E, W, Q all day till lings come out. Its up to your adc to react though And once you hit 6 its gg if you have a voidling up for 7 seconds.

Alistar

Sheen - he has one of the highest base AD in the game, procs hurt towers Ardent Censer - his heals make minions attack faster, gives him 8% movespeed Elixir of Ruin - minions do increased tower damage Banner of Command - Legion/Promote Zz'rot Portal - movespeed near tower and near the portal, so put it in your escape path. Alistar has AoE heal, so will also heal the voidspawn.

Also his abilities allow him to headbutt away people coming to counter, or to remove CC.

Don't forget to use Trample (you know, his passive) to damage minions faster. Sheen -> IBG to increase waveclear.

I think the main problem is that the cost of these items is just too much to make it work. I tried Alistar in the game I just played on PBE... and the game lasted long enough that I had only built one of the discussed items.

Tank Vel'Koz should work. I've played him as support and all you need is his passive for damage so going tank with him isn't such a bad idea since his waveclear is really good also.
