As a top lane, why should bot lane be able to decide the game for me?

Sure, I may tp down there, but that doesn't do it all. I'd have to wait another 3 minutes for tp to come back up.

You may say "leave lane and go to their lane". I mean sure that's possible, but in my current elo, if I leave my lane, the enemy top laner proceeds to stay in top and get towers, and it takes awhile for my team to notice (happened many times).

Bot lane feeds and then I lose game. I end up being the only one able to kill the fed person because I stack good on nasus.

The short answer is the game being won because the bot lane is ahead is more healthy than the game being won because the top lane is ahead. this is due to bot lane being very vulnerable to getting killed by the enemy top lane or jungler or mid even if they are behind, and also the bot lane being unable to push the win condition without their team's support and your team's interference.

Whereas a top lane winning is much more likely to be able to "1v1 any 1 person on the other team" or "outplay them and escape" etc. I.E. there are less answers in the game to a snowballing top laner than to a snowballing ADC and in addition the answers that do exist leave your team still in the losing position with a much smaller investment from the top laner's team.

Top lane has more game impact now than it has in forever.

Ever seen what a 3-0 at 6 minutes Riven can do to an entire team by 15 minutes ? It won't matter how much bot lane feeds. Try to be that Riven.

Honestly? I don't really notice this problem. It might help that I tend to play anti-carries like Yasuo or Wukong, but when my bot feeds, if I managed to stomp lane I can carry team fights and destroy the underleveled butt boy ADC.
