What if laying down the first control ward meant it blinded an enemy control ward placed after?
Might be cool, what do you think?
Might be cool, what do you think?
no
Cool, why do you think that?
It undoes the purpose of investing into the pink ward in the first place.
No it doesn't, you can place yours first or clear one that was placed before yours to restore its vision.
It really complicates lategame baron fights and makes it insanely hard for the attacking team to win
But that makes it incredibly dangerous. If the enemy team is on dragon and you throw a control ward over the wall to see nothing, it makes any chance of contesting the take virtually 0% unless you are willing to risk death to check. Yes it does promote earlier rotations and ward control, but in higher ELO's that would be abused so heavily, and any team from behind wouldn't be able to come back into the game.
I was thinking more the interaction would be like when you place a regular ward on an area an enemy control ward is already placed: you have vision for about a second and then it fades until the enemy ward is removed.

That sounds more reasonable, but I would be hesitant to add that as well. What if pink wards canceled out each other's effects? Like, Enemy pink ward is disabling your Jhin's traps and revealing a nearby ward. Instead of killing their ward, you quickly place down a pink ward of your own, and it would once again hide Jhin's trap and your team's ward, basically converting the two pinks to normal sight wards.
I kind of like your spin actually. And to take it further, what if they cancel each other out still but then 2 will cancel out 1 of the enemy team, and 3 will cancel out 2, etc so that having control wards on multiple players becomes much more valuable. I think it could be interesting.

That is the single silliest interaction idea that I would love to see in place. Can you imagine the challenger games where teams are frantically trying to out control ward one another, or the silver games even? I would be down for that to be in the game.
It would be pretty silly xD
