So what about Nunu?

Nunu is in dire need of some tender love and care. Can we expect to see some love for this little yordle and big yeti in the near future? number tweaks at this point wont really cut it sadly. I think he needs an overhaul on his passive or his Q to a certain extent.

he on the near future rework list? i hope so.

I dont think nunu is in the worst of places by any means. Im not looking for tips really as I am rather proficient at playing him, just trying to get him some face time so to speak and hopefully get a red to pop in and give their feelings on him. there are always going to be players who think that a champ is fine and doesnt need any changes. In all honesty I dont really want Nunu to actually change but to get some more viability.

While I understand your point of view and wanted his q to hit champs for a long time, I think with the sotag changes he is in a good place. I've been winning about 80 percent of my matches on him as of recent.

The reason I offered help is because if you were playing him proficiently, you wouldn't feel like he is so feast or famine.

His objective control is unmatched. Catching up when behind is as simple as farming the jungle which he does incredibly fast. Ganking lanes is just about timing.

I'm not trying to be a jerk about it because I used to think the exact same thing as you do now. I learned how to fully utilize his kit and itemize and my winrate sky rocketed.

I honestly think his E's base damage and ratio are very high. The cooldown shouldn't be 6 at every level.

they are very high. they have to be, It is his only real source of regular damage... Which is the problem. Nunu scales insanely well for the first 15 mins of the game but after that he falls off extremely fast. Until he gets a second damage source outside of his ult this will likely never change.

Actually, I feel like he's sitting in a spot slightly similar to old Sona, where he's more of an annoying stat-on-a-stick thing than an interactively enticing champions. Even before her rework, you would see some support utterly dominate the D1-challenger stretches. However unless you realy knew what you were doing, you couldn't know how much of what you do is right.

In the same way, a lot of Nnu's power comes from his insane self+ally buff (on top of being a ludicruous early bully and a late game zoning machine). I believe that he could very well be pretty balanced right now (with a few caveat) but the experience obtained from playing Nunu is so terribad that you have no reason to grind him hoping to get better.

you know what... i think you hit the nail on the head here. Nunu does bring a lot of unique things to the table. To a certain extent he is balanced but feels rather feast or famine. No doubt his e and w are great tools in team fights but they dont feel very satisfying without a ton of ap to boost e's damage. That is why I feel he needs one more reliable source of damage. I think consume really could fit this void nicely by figuring out a way to make it possible to use on enemy champions.

Nunu support is still strong. I think he is fine.

I think nunu is in a much better position jungling than support.

Nunu is a niche support esque** team oriented** jungler, who brings unique strengths and weakness, one of those weakness is his lack of damage in exchange for high amounts of utility, greatly boosting AD champions, objective control, and maybe the most ideal jungler for teams attempting 3-1-1 split siege/push tactic.

This has made him a viable pick but niche pick in competitive play. but not a dominant pick.

During the last seasons of pro play Nunu was played 14 times during the NA LSC, 6 times during LPL, and 5 times during OGN. So I don't see why a champion who is viable at pro level and isn't OP really needs that much changes.
