I'm Sorry: Senna

Before we start off, I'd just like to ask why RIOT chose this route especially when they strictly said that they weren't goin to do the whole, "Xayah and Rakan thing" ever again. Anyways, lets go to my original intention.

To those of you who know of Lucian's lore, many of us think it is awesome to finally see the champions of said such lore to become a reality while other's see the toxicity that comes along with it. To those who are unaware, Senna's gun makes no sense to have. To shorten lore things up a bit, Lucian's father was killed by wraiths of the Black Mist which was told by Senna. Senna with an Urias’ relic pistol entrusted Lucian with his father’s pistol after showing promise. When Lucian screwed up, Senna saved him by changing places which is why Thresh had Senna. Now lucian weilds both PISTOLS. Once Lucian releases Senna, for absolutely no reason She weilds a massive "weapon". Bur for the time being, lets just say that the lore is not important. Instead, let's look into her kit and gameplay.

If you play the Lucian Senna duo, you will realize that they are polar opposites. While Lucian is strong, Senna is weak. While Lucian falls off, Senna starts to get strong. What makes this part very sad is that it holds the, "this or the other, but not both" intention because senna does not feel or function much like how a support normally would. As the breakdown begins, Senna's q does both damage and heal in the line of fire. It has insane AOE range to poke with and is a bit underwhelming to say the least. Her healing doesn't scale much with any of the things she builds and she is too squishy to be deemed sustainable. While her passive increases certian statuses like life steal, range and crit for example, her attack speed (including crit damage) is clutched and fails to reach normal scaling. If she is not meant to be a marksmen and fails to work like a healing support then maybe she's an ability caster? Well maybe not. If anyone has played Senna within URF you will realize that her q still takes a little more than a second to use at level 1, but can still poke pretty far. In contrast to Lucian, Senna is just gross ranged champion at this point. If Senna's q scaled better when it came to healing compared to damage and her e wasn't wholeheartedly useless, then maybe we would be in buisness.

Sorry for what seems like a rant. Thanks for reading. I'm awaiting your response.

oh no, a new and interesting champion is about to hit the rift, whatever shall we do? oh I know, let's talk about how the lore doesn't match up, as though summoner spells existing in a game with no summoners in the lore is normal.

To be fair, I did try to talk about her kit design and playstyle. The mentality behind the idea isn't clear. Of course she's interesting as are of every other "new champion". I tried to use the MOD's logic when writing this post and it is clear that no one likes this kind of approach. I would have done statistical analysis and how awfully overpowered and underwhelming she is at the same time, within the PBE ATM. I didn't want to be biased when writing this, yet from your cynically sarcastic stance/approach I can see exactly that... unfortunately, I wish she was made in mind of a corrupt Urias rather than Lucian himself- not a complete and utter ripoff of Lucian which also panders to the "strong and powerful female character".

That "weapon" that senna pulled out randomly deadpool style is created with the similar method as mordekaiser's death realm, that cannon is made of souls all combined and attached to each other. In case you didn't know.

Kit-wise, I think of her along the lines as a combination of Lux and Jhin. Seeing her kit, yes she will be slightly difficult to play, but the damage really depends on either if she is going to be very strong on her live release to the servers, or very underwhelming. The scary thing however is that if a senna were to have dark harvest and kept their eye on top lane all the time, she can just snipe the top laner when they try to recall with her ult, which has global range mind you. Still, we are yet to see what is going to happen on the live servers.

Well, to be very clear here. Shouldn't that weapon only be available when she grabs a certain amount of souls within game then? To constantly see her wield it is very bothersome because these weapons are relics of light as to where that cannon is of a dark created by souls.

It's her going away gift from the time she spent in the lantern.

Yes, in the lore is presumable to be okay, but in game... eeehhhhhh I can see this more like a kayne transformation.

That might be the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. (the lore bit)

I mean if Mordekaiser can do it, anyone can too. Besides, we have no clue what went on in the lantern.

Thresh keeps guns in his torture realm? No, it's dumb as hell.

Based on the new lore stuff, it looks like Thresh has a lot more things in his lantern than even he realizes.

That quote from Senna towards Thresh "At the center of your lantern, there's a soul, wretched and afraid. I think it's you." Best recent special interaction in a while, not gonna lie. What she implies here gives me chills.
