Hey Riot, how does the design team feel about Quinn?

Hey guys, I'm not really sure where else to ask this (if anybody knows, feel free to tell me and I'll be on my way), but I'm wondering how the design team feels about Quinn. She's currently getting a bit of attention with this lethality change, but her playrate is still very low. Does Riot feel like she's in a good place or are they dissatisfied with her?

To illustrate why I'm curious, I think she fits the niche that Riot made for her when they did the big marksmen change, but I think that change ultimately led to a less fun champion kit. If you compare her to the other assassins (which is basically her de facto role now), I think she has about the same mechanical intensity as Pantheon, who I might consider to have the lowest mechanical intensity.

In addition to that, I think her player fantasy fulfillment is a little bit off, too. Thematically, she seems to be a kind of scout/ranger/assassin for Demacia. I think her gameplay for that part is passable, if not perfect, but the tag-team elements for her characters are almost completely gone. It's supposed to be Quinn AND Valor, no? Demacia's Wings, not Demacia's Wing. So what happened? Riot still seems committed to trying dual characters, such Kindred and Kayn. Hell, I mean we even have a bird-themed bot lane tag team (Xayah and Rakan), and for the record, I think their release makes Quinn and Valor's identity more obsolete than it was before.

So why not Quinn? Do they not have the time to work on her? Is she just in a weird spot like Azir or Nidalee? Or do they actually feel that she's where she's supposed to be? If any Reds read this, I would really appreciate any kind of response from the design team, although I'm sure that's what everybody says when asking about stuff like this. Thanks for reading <3

I am pretty sure Quinn is a hot topic for Riot that is lower on their list but they know hosts a lot of problems. I am pretty sure the team isn't happy with the current form of Quinn. There were changes posted on the Quinn subreddit and I have been hunting down Meddler non-stop about them as I just want to know what is going on with her.

The toplane team is displeased to see this particular tumor recur.

The general consensus at Riot seems to be that Quinn could use work on all fronts (design, art, theme) but isn't really a priority right now due to other champions who need the work more. If I had to guess, I expect she'll receive a mini-update some time in the future since she's not very healthy (maybe within the next two years?) but that won't resolve all her longstanding issues like a full-blooded VGU will.

I really hope that whatever happens, we get a new ultimate, because 'channel for 2 seconds to gain a glorified mobi boots effect' isn't really all that exciting or thematic for an R button :( Would love to see Riot come up with a cooler ability like they did with Rek'Sai not long ago.

(P.S. I sent you a friend request!)
