you train like you play

my philosophy is simple, you practice like shit, you're going to play like shit.

today in ranked, my 2nd ranked game of the day to be exact, my ADC died twice and he said "i'm done". tf?! he was just the biggest piece of shit troll i've ever encountered. and playing this game, everyone encounters a troll at least 80% of their games. i've met some annoying trolls, but this one definitely tops the cake.

he just stood there on base laughing, dancing, taunting, and doing joke key binds all game long, meanwhile the enemy is taking turrets, slaying dragon, slaying baron, taking our buffs. this guy did not put forth the effort to any sort of help. and whenever we tried to FF he would not select an option. he would also purposely feed.

moral of the story, you are only going to get better by practicing . nobody picks up a champ for the first time and becomes a pro and wins the world championships.

Came in expecting a dissertation on how to practice properly.

Was disappointed.

step 1. go to youtube step 2. search your main champ (or the champs you want to learn how to play) step 3. bust out your note pad and take notes.

there's plenty of pros that play just about any champ, probably even urgot and viktor. just look them up, study their positioning, starting items, core build, etc. or go to websites like solomid.com or probuilds.com they have an entire guide with runes and masteries.

i don't claim to be a pro, i just practice. and i get out what i put into it.

XD lol

But let me ask you this, from whom did the pros learn to play?

Koreans.

Koreans weren't playing this game when it came out in 2009/2010.

It was a joke. Real pros learn through experience and time. They get to know the mechanics of their favourite champions, refine them and then learn how to face other champions and how to build and play against them.

Having innate talent is nice, but most pros are just experienced and take the effort to learn everything about the game.

I share your feelings about trolling players in ranked, I hate them! I think this should be put in Tips & Tricks though, not sure.
