I guess you can't really take him top and go bruiser well now that Trinity Force doesn't have crit. Hopefully he's able to go back to mid lane and do as well there as he used to top.

They took the critical chance off Trinity Force, meaning you can't max crit with Trinity and PD then just go bruiser items. Trinity was good because it gave him health with crit, AS and damage. This means he doesn't have the crit plus hp power, now he has to get IE or another damage/AS item instead.

So they're replacing Zeal with something else?

I saw a post a few weeks back asking for Crit chance to be removed from Triforce because its main users didn't need to rely on crit to deal out tons of damage. But yeah, I tend to play a lot of PD + Trinity Yasuo, and it's saddening news.

Guess you can only build IE since ER is next to useless on him and there are no other 20% crit chance items in the game...

Yep, they are replacing the zeal with Stinger, so its for fighters more now like Irelia.

Seriously? Trinity Force doesn't make Yasuo a bruiser. It does give good all around utility, and the loss of critical strike chance would definitely make it less valuable for him, but I honestly think it was just the spellblade effect that really made this a good item on him in the top lane. You can get much more HP, AD, Crit, AS, CDR, and MS from many other items and most are cheaper. And of course the mana doesn't do anything for him.

So you might see Yasuo build Trinity Force less, or never, but I don't think you have seen the last of bruiser Yasuo.

It allows him to get the most out of the bruiser build. He can get max critical chance with it and get a little bonus health. It was a perfect item for him because it gave so many stats. Its not worth building as a second item meaning he has to get a different critical chance item, none of which will give him bruiser stats. It weakens the build heavily because he's trading utility and tankiness for what he usually does mid, which is get IE. Bruiser Yasuo isn't going to be as strong as before, which allowed him to go top lane and beat the top laners in the meta currently. I don't think its gonna be a worthwhile top lane pick any more unless you are really good at Yasuo and can make it work.

Yasuo has one of the most interesting skill curves in my opinion because most of the people who are considered good at Yasuo, are often also considered to be really good at Yasuo.

Again, I really don't think this is the last of Bruiser Yasuo. People who know how to play him well will easily be able to make use of items that are more suited for bruisers (Which even the current Trinity Force is not) that are less expensive.
